And yet you seem bemused at my negative responses?
You mean predictable.
And yet you seem bemused at my negative responses?
You mean predictable.
Nice way of trivialising things mate.
As I said earlier, if you don't want to argue - go talk to the guy in the mirror.
It was entirely predictable that the minute someone posted they had never voted Labour, they would be rounded on. He did. He was.
Did I scare someone by having an opposing view?
If so, I apologise profusely.</sarcasm>
Again, incorrect. As set out in the Labour manifesto (I doubt you've read it), borrowing will only ever be used to pay for infrastructure.
Without infrastructure, you can't have an economy - without an economy, you can't take taxes - without taxes, you can't have an NHS.
I have always voted Labour, and find the OP is phrased a little bit sillily.I've always been 'progressive' in my worldview but have voted against Labour on at least two occasions in the past (never for the thieving Tories or U-skip, of course). In 2010 I joined the Labour Party just because I was appalled that bunch of Old Etonians had somehow seized power and because, really, in a post-Financial Crisis world, if you can't see that the ruling class are feathering their beds and laughing at us then you're some sort of thicko div. Hence I am, at the age of 53, more leftwing than I've ever been and am now an active member of my local branch.
Not in the slightest. I found it amusing. Like cat nip to some on here.
We get the exact same thing in the Liverpool thread. Anyone dare post anything positive about them, "Kopite you lad" responses. Same in here.
Liverpool FC didn't starve my family though.
Not. A. Game.
and deserved, tories are little better than vermin, starving people to death for their own benefit
One of my earliest memories is my nan telling me (in a flood of tears) about the food-shortages during the Miners strikes.
£100bn of North Sea Oil wasted on Yuppies, whilst good, honest, working people starved.
Toryism.
Where? Because there is opportunity, you just have to actually look for it. One of the biggest falsehoods that this country seems to be clinging to is that there’s no chance of them climbing the ladder. Why don’t they? Because people want everything within 6 months or less or it isn’t worth it. For me Labour exploits that belief like no other party. The opportunity isn't there in the first place, mate.
Silliest quote of the year award....... Tories, who happen to be the biggest supported political party in the U.K., are for the most part, just ordinary decent people. Your sort of comments, which attempts to place half the population as being little better than vermin, just emphasises why they will never vote Labour. Have you ever wondered why the language you use is only ever used by Labour supporters and never by the decent folk who vote Tory. One day you will grow up and understand....but not yet.........
Bedroom tax? No such thing.I'm referring to the one that was brought in via the Welfare Reform Act 2012.
