It's not done until the FA speak up. There's no way this will be left without further comment. No way at all. The fans of Murder Incorporated might want that to be the case, but it wont happen.

Of course you shouldn't have to. Like I said the amount of time is a joke but those organisations who are involved in the fight against racism might need a nudge along or a rocket up the Arsenal.

What an indictment of the English game when a racist is allowed to play on week in week out and the FA place this on the back burner.

Shame on them. They made an unambiguous statement that there was to be an inquiry over this, and now here we are almost 6 weeks later with no updates and no sign of a conclusion.

And where are our local media on this? Keeping their heads down unless they get a bullet in the post or phone calls threatening to kill them, their partners and kids?

FFS 47 days....

....47 'kin days.
Personally, I would like to forget that this whole drama happened so that we can get back to football

I bet you would.

I repeat - IF there is evidence that RF said nothing. Reasonable for FA, players and clubs all to agree to park it there. No witchunt against accuser, doesn't put players off reporting racist abuse in future. I dont think (but could be wrong) there is an onus on the FA to close the case via statement to press

I have but doubt theyd be able to find me from that haha, I put my username as "a logical blue nose" haha

ive put down notify me of replies though so once my comment gets moderated I expect a torrent haha

further to this, it appears lots of comments have gone in after me, same harping about the same points, they are so stupid haha

the only reasonable comment on the article is from a guy called dave, not you is it @davek ? haha

Nothing will be said about it. It cannot have taken this long to investigate so I seriously believe no statement will be made. It's a complete joke really. The only way the FA will come out and say something is if they're pressured to - which they aren't being and probably wont be. Even then it would just be "there was not enough evidence" or some PR bs that has a lot of words but really doesn't mean anything.

We need to move on really... Money and corruption are bedfellows and the more money that pours into the premier league and the fa's coffers - the more the money cows will be protected for any sort of slur to their brand names....

I would agree that this would be the case had it been a West Brom player or sow thing accused

But them creatures over the road won’t drop it if Firminho gets cleared, they’ll be protesting for some reason. Guaranteed. Mutants

Predictable and if no evidence showed what Firmino said then the right call. I have no doubt Firmino said something or certainly that Holegate heard something but if there is zero evidence.....
