Pretty much there is one person who is saying that in a case like this both players involved should sit out games because they think it would make the FA act faster.
And pretty much everyone else disagrees.
I'm pretty sure if i tell you that he who shouts loudest and for longest gets noticed most you'll be able to guess who that 1 person is.
We should accuse Mane, Firmino and Salah of racism before every derby.just playing Devil's advocate here (and it really makes me baulk saying it) but for you lads saying Firmino should have been banned while the case was on going, shouldn't it be a case of 'innocent till proven guilty?' Also, It's a case of catch 22, if he gets found guilty, then in hindsight he should have been banned whilst the FA were looking into it, but if he had been banned from the start, and missed a fair few games for the RS, then the verdict was not guilty, then wouldn't the RS have every right to feel aggrieved because he was banned? As I say, just playing Devil's advocate.
I think what @davek was I'm assuming that's who you were talking about ) saying in a roundabout way is that if he was banned we can sure as hell guarantee that a decision would have been made in about 48 hours as the FA would have been put under immense pressure from all parties.
As things stand, we seem no nearer to hearing a decision because the communication has been nothing short of diabolical from all involved. If Everton aren' allowed to say anything well let us know it' becsuse an investigation is ongoing. If the FA can't say anything due to the same reason then let us know.

That way we may actually win one.
Even the tumbleweeds have rolled out of the ghost town that is/was the FA inquiry.Rodriguez given an extension by the FA to respond to the charge meanwhile tumbleweed over the Holgate Firmino incident.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying people should be banned without a hearing.
However professional sports people should be held to a higher standard as their in the public eye and people follow their example
See the ecb with stokes
Short term stopping them from playing until a decision has been made would hopefully ensure that clubs cooperate, procedures are followed smoothly and transparently, and most importantly these incidents cease to occur
