No idea wtf some of our fans are doing here trying to slate Holgate, ffs! We're evertonians, we should be getting behind our man. He believes he's been racially abused and doesn't have any record of being a part or dishonest.

Yet we have fans on here saying he obviously misheard. Based on fecking what? What idiot said he should apologise for the push? Apologise for a push in a Derby! You are bloody joking? Every footballer should apologise for every foul now? Jesus Christ. He's been lambasted left right and centre for speaking out and some of our "fans" say that! Hang your heads in shame ffs.

I don't understand why Holgate hasn't been punished even if Firmino was guilty of Racism his challenge was still dangerous and should have received the 3 match ban. For example if someone commits a sexual/physical act of violence against one of my loved ones + I end up crippling him so badly he ends up a wheelchair this act does not give him the right to leniency as it occurred after his crime

Hahaha bloody keyboard warriors hey.

Haven’t checked into here for a couple of days but Jesus, it’s scary how many people still don’t get it.
None of us know what was said. Firminio may be guilty, he may not be.
Regardless of that, Holgate should not have to publically state what has happened, or apologise publically if it is decided he misheard, that is between the players to sort out.
He has done this professionally. Raised the issue with the authorities who are investigating. The clubs, both EFC and LFC have acted professionally and have not discussed it publically and have let the investigation take place.

As Everton fans, actually, as football fans, we should support any player that speaks out about racism. Let’s support Holgate, and if it comes out he misheard, then we support him still, as everyone should, because he hasn’t done anything wrong. If he misheard, that is not an offence, and at least he hasn’t publically discussed it to throw shade at Firminio.

I assume most people on here are white, who haven’t experienced what it is like to be racially abused. Let’s not assume to understand and decide what is the right or wrong when we haven’t experienced it. I’m sure Holgate won’t have taken the decision to report it lightly.

Jay Rodriguez has stolen the limelight here. The FA must have been licking their lips on Saturday evening knowing full well they can focus on that instead

the fa are in a pickle, they will have to report what they think he has most likely said, its either racism or foul and abusive language right down the refs ear, firminho should be punished either way.
didn't rooney get a ban for swearing on camera, precedent right there.
they are trying to bury this no doubt about it.
