Like every player in history ever.
I also fail to see how playing 300 times and having your own 'When Hibbert scores we riot' is not making an impact on your club.
Is he a world beater ? No.
Is he going to help us win the league ? No.
Has he done his best for 10 years wearing the shirt that we all love ? You're damn right he has.
This should be a chance to celebrate and look back on his time at the club, and to watch a good game of football in the process. He's a good guy and i wouldn't begrudge anybody who has played for Everton for a decade the same experience.
I also don't get the last line of your post at all, nobody has said anything of the sort and you're twisting people's reactions and what they think to fit your own personal opinion, which is never a good thing !
That's essentially us celebrating something awful about him. That seems backwards.
But yes, I won't argue that he's done his best for us for 10 years. I haven't. I like Hibbert, as I've said, but it just doesn't sit right with me -- celebrating someone for 10 years of service, but little else at all.
And I'm not twisting anything. In fact I feel like you keep twisting my intent a bit here. I'm merely saying how PERSONALLY I can't really celebrate (not ironically) Tony Hibbert's career to such an extent.
This has all got a bit out of hand... I'm clearly not finding the idea of Hibbert's testimonial to be disgraceful, as I said I'll be going ffs. I'm just voicing a niggling little question that's on my mind.
P.S. How come I'm getting all this stick but fox, who vehemently insulted Hibbert and his ability, has been glossed over?
ill give it a miss 10 years of pain the little lemon faced kunt has put me through , truly awful footballer ,
