I want at least 22 million for Lescott. We rejected the 2nd bit of 20m, so it's only logical they improve their offer. Also, make sure we get Richards on a season long loan deal with option to buy. Personally think our transferbudget is at least 10 million, so that would leave 30 million to spend, as wolves get a share of the Lescott sale, right?

So would be something like this:

Micah Richards (loan + option to buy)
Philipe Senderos (3m.)
Michael Ball (free transfer)
Steven Defour (15m.)
Marcus Elm (4m.)
Raphael van der Vaart (8m.)

Wishful thinking, I know, I know, I know...:mellow:
 

2 cb's , a lb and a wide man would be perfect to reinforce the squad cover.(not sure whos available any more, but im sure moyes has a few in mind)


tbh im gutted we didnt go in for javier pastore , 8 million was a snip for his talent.

i think mancienne from chelsea would have been a good loan that we missed too.

Same things we should buy if Lescott doesn't go.

A new right back, a natural winger (preferably right sided), a new centre back (or two) and cover for left back.

Right back.

Anybody in all honesty. I'd take my gran after the cup final.

But lets say Alan Hutton for 5mil.

Winger

Rasmus Elm - 5mil.

Really fantasy buy might be Van Der Vaart for £8million but I doubt it. He'll be too expensive and we'd probably have to play him out of position anyway,

Centre backs

Lets say we can get Sendeos for 5 or 6 million. He'd ideally still be cover. So if Lescott goes we need someone else.

I'd be tempted to try and grab Bramble given how every other player is being sold from Wigan.

Or Distin from Portsmouth. 5-6 million would be a decent buy. He can also play left back too.

Which takes up all my money. So we'd have to throw a kid in as left back if Baines gets injured or grab a Bosman/Loan for cover.
 

I'd never thought I'd say this after watching him at NUFC but I'd take Bramble in a second. Wigan has plenty of money though and wont sell him. I think alot of Wigan fans considered him to be their 2nd-3rd best player last year.

Playmaker - Without Arteta we're fine against everyone below us in the table. Against the higher ups we cant create or hold on to possession though. For 6-9M there isn't a player out there with Donovan's talent for that price. We could get him on say 30K/week too (which would more than double his salary). Even though he's 27 he doesn't have many miles on him and could defo play at a high level for say 5 years.

Senderos could be OK, he's talented and seemed like he was never a good fit in Wenger's system. I'd hold the line at 6M though.

Rasmus Elm - we need a RW, supposedly good. Sounds like he's worth 3M but guessing will have to pay double given Rednapp's transfer policy of outbidding whoever we are interested in.

Right Back - Isn't the most important position on the field. Hutton would be OK, just wonder what his wages are at Spurs (probably makes more than any player in a blue shirt). We'd be alright w/o getting one or a semi-decent one for a small fee. Any decent ones in the Championship who didn't play for Sheff Utd?

He'd be decent for about a month, then Moyes would do his Scorpion imitation and rip out his spine after Robben decided that he can't play because of a nasty paper cut he suffered the night before the match.
