I queued for 12 hours for a Cup Final ticket in 1990.

Well not many called his mum Queen Elizabeth. Maybe Charles will get called The King in time. Charles is more affectionate though.
He's not a popular figure. Females have it easier in that game I think. Folk feel more protective of them, provided they behave themselves.

Not for me - yes he observed the minutes silence but thats hardly something to be praised for. He decided to make it all about him again standing seperate to his team mates.

So when was the point of the critical mass with the queuing? What I mean by that is, at what point did queuing for the casket viewing match and then exceed how long it takes to get an ambulance to you if you've broke your hip/heart attack/stroke etc...

He's getting flack as he (once again) made a sombre occasion all about him - he knew standing away from the rest of his team mates and not linking arms and being the only one out there on the pitch doing that would shine a light on him.

He knew exactly what he was doing and is rightfully taking flack. If he kept his bigoted views to himself and shown basic respect he would find he would get respect back...

I am not attacking Mclean from some Royalist angle btw - whilst I am subservient to the Monarchy I couldn't care less if it was done away with tomorrow my opinion of Mclean is more of his rhetoric, actions and hypocrisy that he displays.
