Thats not the point of contention Papa - why is this fella taken seriously when he hates the British Monarchy, hates the British Government, hates the British armed forces, hates the British people yet chooses to live and make a living here ?

He's hailed as a hero by some for pulling anti British stunts yet he's got zero principles.

He's all about the money yet the woke champion him as some freedom fighter.
Lots of british people hate the monarchy, (or at least don't think we should have one), lots of british people hate our government (the majority of people in this country didn't vote for the ruling party, and many don't agree with the way the system is arranged).

Why is it a surprise he doesn't like the biritsh army? Would you, if you were from derry and grew up with stories about bloody Sunday?

Has he ever said he hates British people? That seems like quite a libellous statement.

Good to see that you still dont really understand or know how to use "woke" appropriately.

I used to know some of the Meibion GlynDwr lads in a place called Maentwrog just outside Blaenau Ffestiniog. One or two of them were jailed for their actions.

Ancient history now.
I work not far from there actually. The only one of them I knew was a lad named Sion Aubrey , he was jailed for his role in the famous letter bomb campaign.

That is them! I went to school with his nephew and the brother (I think) of Dewi Pryssor who was also jailed. There was a legendary guy called BUFF "big ugly fat f***" who united us all via some dodgy dealings.

The Meibion lads were sentenced like the IRA despite them only using letter bombs and arson, no deaths or bombs intended.

Where abouts do you work?

My office is just outside Dolgellau but I work all over North and mid Wales.

And lots of British people dont have the dough to move to another country.

Mr Mclean however does yet chooses to put profit over principles.

He's a charlatan.

Cool. My dad used to own the George Hotel out side Dol. I used to live in Barmouth, Harlech, Croeso, Llan Ffestiniog all over. Actually from Llandudno though
Arthog is where my main office is. In a previous job I also worked in the switch yard at both power stations, Trawsfynnydd and Tanygrisiau. It’s lovely area around those parts too. I enjoy my drive in from home when I go on shift.

A mate of mine, Nick, has a farm (small holding) in Arthog, its a nice place. There is the outdoor place there also.
The drive from Dol to Traws really is stunning. Lucky you, beats my drive through Bath!

Not for me - yes he observed the minutes silence but thats hardly something to be praised for. He decided to make it all about him again standing seperate to his team mates.

I can't respect a man who made his living in a country he quite clearly detests.
Can't agree mate. I don't think his choice to stand slightly separate was rude or disrespectful. Look at the international rugby matches - when the players stand and sing their anthems some are arm in arm, some stand separately. No big deal.
