Transfer Rumour Hayden Hackney

What proof he’s a buffoon

Kinnear hired him
Kinnear sanctioned Jean-Kévin Augustin deal at Leeds.
Kinnear sanctioned all the players like Harrison who could go on loans if they were relegated
He did the Rohl and Barry negotiations.

I think you liked Thelwell as much as you like Dibling! At least you have an opinion though Eggs :D

Its akin to asking another former red, Jamie Carragher for his opinion.

Buffoons.

Indeed, it was no secret that Dibling was a shy kid who needed a bit of love and whatever you think of Moyes you'd surely say that isn't his strong suit.
When antonio of west ham wanted the day off for his fathers funeral, moyes said'can you just train in the morning then' so love and compassion are in short supply.

we have new negotiator in Hammond , you can’t tarnish him with the same brush as previous people at the club , what do you want him to do, pay the first figure Middlesbrough bring up in the negotiations? He could save us 3 or 4 mil which could be the first year payment on a 20mil player
Who do you think is feeding Sky??
He joined 1st July 2025, we had this exact same back and forth on fee with Dibling who he was negotiating over until he signed at the end of Aug.
I’m all for saving money of fees, just not a huge fan of the negotiation being done in the press.
As for who might be leaking to Sky, I would guess that would be the party that thinks they’re getting mugged off - ie Boro I. This instance. Soton last summer.

….suggests to me that the club didn’t do their background checks on the player. Alternatively, Moyes might be handling him exactly right. Time will tell but there can’t be much doubt he’s been a big disappointment.

….and one he’s very good at if feedback from players is anything to go by. Plenty of plaudits from players about working with him and the atmosphere at FF.
If you're a certain type. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, it's similar to the mentality under Dyche and can help in a relegation battle. However you shouldn't then spend £35 million on a player who doesn't have that mentality.

I suspect that the opinion of ( and experience under Moyes ) Senior players like Keane and Grealish is very different to the likes of Aznou and Dibling

….younger players like Iroegbunam and Garner very complimentary too. It sounds like he’s quite a bit different to his first spell in that respect, he looks like a manager who lets players know what’s expected but also one who doesn’t fall out with them.
