Right back it is then….i’m not sure any manager would play him at 10, not sure why Moyes would be any different.
Who signed him?He was scouted by Mick Doherty.
Talks with the player.Shows you what bobble knows
Hasn’t got a clue
Talks going well![]()
Who signed him?
So let's just not play him at all then, it'll increase his value AND his confidence, right?….i’m not sure any manager would play him at 10, not sure why Moyes would be any different.
If we only gonna offer 8 m can’t be serious about wanting him
Appreciate that, but A) Boro aren’t going to agree to discussions without indicating what the price will be, B) we shouldn’t be engaging without an agreement in principle for the transfer fee.Everton ask Boro “ can we talk to Hayden please “
Boro “ Go ahead “
Hayden to Everton “ Koff “
Doesn’t work that way any more
Paler and agents agree contracts agent fees etc with player and then buying club approaches selling club
In the majority of cases that is
No, you told me who scouted him. Who signed him?Just told you.

If we've agreed terms with him and he's keen to come then for a while at least we can lowball them. Depends if he's type who'll play up if he doesn't get the move he wants. Middlesbrough will know if he is or not.If we only gonna offer 8 m can’t be serious about wanting him
Yeah there was no rejected Ipswich bid for him in January mate.I’ve no idea what we’ve offered or not but regardless I’m not sure the Ipswich situation can be looked at without considering that they were direct rivals in a promotion race at the time and I think a point between them in January .
You’d imagine any offer from Ipswich around that time would have to not only factor in the realistic prospect of the riches of promotion but also the relative positions of Ipswich & Boro at that time .
