Think you're underestimating Gordon a bit there. Whenever I've watched play v City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Utd in the last few years he's always been one of the best players on the pitch and caused them lots of problems.

Yeah, I agree, I have been moaning a lot more recently, and I’m normally optimistic about Everton, even though history should have taught me not to be.

I think the run in and our performance to close the season out really did my fruit in and then the total acceptance of such mediocrity by the owners and CEO has triggered me.

Don’t think my mood will be shifting anytime soon, so expect more cryarsing, but I live in hope that Everton do change.

It is genuinely bizarre that people wind themselves up so much about signings.

Someone could write "I think Hackney would be a good signing" and the next three repiles would be:.

• "WE nEeD FuLlbaCks you IdIOT!!"
• "So if Moyes is signing him, that means you support Moyes, I can't believe you want to keep Moyes - did you see the end of the season?"
• A 6 page in depth analysis about how he's no better than a youth prospect who we should be playing instead.
