Has Fellaini really got a £22m buyout clause in his contract ?

Need to take into account a load of other things though mate. Not just RVP went for £24m.
- Fellaini is 24
- We would need to recoup and make a decent profit on what we got him for.
- Liege must have a sell on clause
- He's a unique player. Not a lot like him.
- Has years left on his contract.

Yeah, very true... I bloody love the big fella and he has Everton written all over him which is why we all love him.

I just wish we could turn down bids and hold out for the 'silly-money'.

I guess in a way I'm trying to justify it in my own head just in-case it does happen.

Will the sell-on clause for Liege have been taken into account when we 'allegedly' offered him a contract with a min fee release clause?? I would hope so! But this is EFC

I can't see how he can have one and the more I think about it the more ridiculous it seems. I just get edgy when things are reported on BBC. But deep down I think I know you're right.

But with that in mind, what do you think is a realistic bid for Fellaini, what is the figure we can't refuse?

So to confirm, the media has only run with this 'release clause' business over the past week or so, and prior to that there was nothing but a few whisperings from Everton fans on internet message boards.

But I don't believe that there has been, other than a few whisperings by a small number of Everton fans on a couple of message boards, who were quoting the figure of 26million.

Have you got a link then mate? Even though that would be nothing but websites repeating what has been written on their own message boards. But it would still be interesting to see what you are referring to.
