Has Fellaini really got a £22m buyout clause in his contract ?

It hasn't been discussed in a big way previously.

The recent media reports have been treated like a revelation to the majority of Evertonians, a revelation which remains unsubstantiated to this day.

If it had been so well known and so well discussed amongst Evertonians, it wouldn't have taken so long for the mainstream media to report it as if it was a revelation.

The fact is that what you are referring to is nothing but a few unsubstantated whisperings amongst a very small cohort of Evertonians who post on message boards and drink in your pub.

I've heard Evertonians at Goodison discuss it in passing, people who i don't know. I've overheard random people in the pub talk about it, i've seen it on multiple Everton fan sites, and it has been discussed at length on here and seen by thousands of Everton fans.

I don't think you actually know what the word 'whisperings' means.

- Fellaini signs for Chelsea within a week
- Moyes makes three great signings for the money we get
- Everton qualifies for the Champions League
- Chelsea doesn't

Whatever happens, I'd prefer none of this sort of thing.

It's small time and unnecessary. If Fellaini leaves, he's doing it for ambition and he's give his all for us, and he's going to make us a tidy profit too.

When/If he does go, that is. But when/if he does, I'm going to wish him all the luck in the world.

I always found what the Sh*te did with Torres utterly disgraceful - and Arsenal fans with Van Persie - and I'd like to think we wouldn't irrationally treat a player like that.

If he does go I would love us to replace him with Michu class player would love to see him to do that celebration he does to the RS fans in a blue shirt

God knows.

He joined Swansea 6 months ago, why on earth would he leave now ? And more importantly why would they sell him ?

Ridiculous.

Also in january prices rocket and they will want close to 20mill, Will he fit into our system ? id rather spend 8-9 million on james mccarthy from wigan.

Why does everyone want us to replace felli with michu ? How do we know he isnt a 1 season wonder ?

he was the highest scoring midfield player in La Liga according to SSN last season and could be in the Premier league this year,

who is else there realisitically we need to replace him with a top top quality player no 4 £5 million players I would say Moutinho but even spurs coudlnt afford his wages so we wouldnt have a chance.

best situation bar him staying would be he hasnt a release clause (I think he has personally) flog him for £30 mil, spend £20 on a top class CAM and the remaining £10 mil on a quality CDM alongside gibson

If we got 30m I think we'd spend about 15m - 20m of it on two decent players and that'd be that. There is no way we'll ever ever ever spend 20m on a player, in my opinion.
