We will never win a trophy with Moyes in charge. 100% guaranteed.

How dare you, sir !

Mate have you not watched us play for the 10 years he's been in charge???

our football is awful. I really like Moyes and what he's done for our club.

But you talking utter ****e her mate.

I really hope your proved right thou, but doubt it.

Yes I have been a bit harsh, just get a bit frustrated with his negative tactics at times but made up hes here

I'm sure he's arsed if anyone's seen the light when he's signing that new £4.5M per year contract.

He'll retire with a personal fortune of circa £40M from his time at Everton - in exchange for an empty trophy cabinet, 14 years of huff and puff football interspersed with the odds bright moment, and a humiliating Derby record that shames the club for generations to come.

How d'you like that bit of light?

Absolute YAWN that his wages are getting used as a stick to beat him with.
When he has had the players we have played some terrific football, just think towards the back end of the season when we had Pienaar and Jelavic, some of the football was brilliant and i can only hope that with us signing Pienaar back that it carries on into next season. I am a Moyes fan, but that doesnt mean i dont get annoyed and some of his tactics, i feel he should go at the bigger teams more just like he decided to at OT and we got something from the game, if we werent poor defensively then who knows what the score would have been.
Being 19, i clearly missed the 'good days' of Everton and only witnessed the awful days of supporting Everton, you know, constant relegation battles etc. Moyes has moved the club forward in that respect and deserves credit and praise for it IMO. With little help from his board he turned Everton from relegation fodder to a top 6/7 team in the Premier League.

Its proven fact that when he has been able to add to his squad rather than watch players walk out the door and no-one coming in that we have good starts to the season, with us doing our business early getting good players in, you never know with regards to next season. We are solid defensively, 3rd best in fact, and we have Jelavic upfront, anything is possible in football when you have a goalscorer, so yes, im fairly confident that if we get a good start then top 6/5 is a definite possibility.

Not quite.

I, like the rest, hailed him as the second coming at the start of his spell because he was getting us into Europe and so forth. All I see from him now though is alehouse football, not one win at Anfield in 10 years despite some of their worst spells in recent history coming in that time, no trophies and a vapid and condescending attitude towards the supporters as if he owns Everton and that we have a cheek ever questioning him, the board or the players.

One of the highest wages in Europe for a manager with the expectation of survival at worst, top 8 at best. Possibly one of the worst value for money coaches there is right now?

He's an alright manager with a good eye for a bargain, but I'm afraid for a great Everton manager I want more than that.

This thing about winning trophies. Yes, it is important, and that's where the glory lies. But using it as a stick to beat Moyes with is, frankly, ridiculous. With the squads that we have we don't have a prayer of winning the Premiership, so realistically if we're going to win a trophy it has to be one of the cups. But this is still incredibly hard to do. Look at the facts. Since we won the FA Cup in 1995 only six clubs have lifted the trophy : Chelsea (6 times), Arsenal (4), Man United (3), Liverpool (2), Manchester City and Portsmouth (1). Bar Portsmouth every one of those teams had a stronger squad than us. Let's face it, Moyes is far from being the only manager around who's tried and failed.
