The reason Piers Morgan hates Megan Markle is because he alleges she swerved a meeting or interview with him many years back to try and get some press to advance her career as an actress. It's nothing to do with him being a staunch royalist or anything like that, as with everything in his orbit it's all about himself.
His conduct when he was the editor of the Daily Mirror should have seen him exiled from 'journalism' for life. ITV have so many questions to answer about why he is still on our TV screens every morning.
Hes got it spot on with her from day 1...
...in my opinion
I've been to Madrid. I went to the palace as I like to see nice architecture and grand buildings. They have a royal family and I only know this because I wasn't allowed in certain areas of the building. To me the Spanish royal family didn't attract me to the country or the city or even the building they just stopped me from seeing a lot of a building that I was interested in. Most normal tourists would probably feel the same about the British Monarchy, not the small percentage of weirdos that hang around for hours hoping to spot a royal but the people who see Buckingham Palace as a tourist attraction on a par with "Big Ben"
tl;dr abolish the monarchy
Alot of people who knew her pre-wedding had come out and said that she read alot about the royal family and especially Princess Diana...watching videos about her and suchlike. Very into them apparently...
Shes an actress, she researches her roles...she'll know what a curtsey is and Harry will have gone through all the ceremony etc with her...if he hasnt then its on him.
Saying she thought she was a cartoon character in a disney film -- when Harry tried to get her a part in one -- just topped it off.
I dont find her believable whatsoever. None of what she says makes any sense at all.
Its more likely she went to london for the sole reason of claiming to have had tea with the queen lol
Playing devil's advocate about the 'dark skin' comment, because from the tone that Meghan implied it's like whoever said was validating it etc etc
My sister is pregnant. Her fiance is Tunisian.
We've all said we wonder whether the baby is going to have dark skin or not.
Again, I'm not saying this as a defence of whoever said it. But... I think it's a pretty normal thing to talk about. However, that's me and my family, not the royal family, and not to a princess etc etc.
And as I've said, Meghan implied it had a more sinister connotation.
To be honest I thought the same thing.
My Grandson is mixed race, we often discussed what "colour" he would be before he was born, not to his Dad like, cos that would be quite offensive.
And a few times we have wondered if he would go darker when older.
Ironically his Dad started saying the baby wasn't his cos he came out "white", despite our whole family having blue eyes and the baby has brown eyes, he thankfully has nothing to do with him these days, I say thankfully cos he was 1 utter bellend.
Being a white bloke in Asia its a common theme to hear about this...
...when did it become racist lol
The narrative has become that shes a victim despite claiming to have had a fake wedding costing tens of millions...a house refurb costing millions and has an independently wealthy husband (as well as her own savings) who is horrified that his dad has cut him off at 36 (?).
Theyre anti-media yet have just gone on Oprah to create more drama and throw everyone under the bus...
Amongst all this mayhem theyve dropped in about the 'racism' because someone asked what their future child may look like...
Oprah has said its not the 99 year old in hospital nor the Queen...i mean imagine the backlash on them if they had claimed otherwise.
It looks to me to be a sweeping 'racist' accusation they want to create shock and awe with to gain publicity.
Wouldnt read too much into it.
Edit: Didnt harry say it was at the beginning and Meghan say it was months later...or something along those lines?
Timing didnt add up
