Current Affairs Harry and Meghan Part 3: I can't think of a snappy subtitle

I’d be amazed if it was, tbh.

I think the disconnect with his dad is specifically because he (Charles) is the one person whose experiences - being monstered by the papers for years, doing his own thing regardless and (eventually) marrying the person he wanted to - are closest to what he’s gone through.

Surely it wouldn't be William? He seems the biggest robot out of them all, he doesn't seem programmed to have an opinion or a thought on anything. Obviously could be the wider family but I don't think it would have even been mentioned if it was someone distant.

Playing devil's advocate about the 'dark skin' comment, because from the tone that Meghan implied it's like whoever said was validating it etc etc

My sister is pregnant. Her fiance is Tunisian.

We've all said we wonder whether the baby is going to have dark skin or not.

Again, I'm not saying this as a defence of whoever said it. But... I think it's a pretty normal thing to talk about. However, that's me and my family, not the royal family, and not to a princess etc etc.

And as I've said, Meghan implied it had a more sinister connotation.

Mate, I`m a ginger and neither of my parents are.

The only discussion when I popped out, with hair the colour of Jessica Rabbit and translucent skin, was " does anyone have any admissions to make " lol

hahahaha

Yeah like I said, totally playing devil's advocate. From that clip, it clearly was said in an offensive tone or offended Meghan.

I know for a fact my sister/her fiance aren't offended by wondering whether their daughter is going to have lighter or darker skin - I'm certainly not bothered, just excited to be an uncle.

Some of the takes in here are unreal.

People defending the Royals like they are blood relatives and the nasty black, skint, nobody of a woman has come along and ruined the whole family.

This all comes down to one thing, the colour of her skin. Cant dilute the superior bloodline now can we?

Where you see this?
It's been confirmed by Jonathon Dimbleby that he was the source of the enquiry of the potential shade of black of his soon-to-be grandchild. Elsewhere it was described as a "factory floor" epithet.

It's shocking.
