It's quite an odd take to believe that a royal bride should be known to you before she's met the royal that she marries.

Threw Kate under the bus a bit there. All she needed to say was "no, I did not make her cry. That story is 100% untrue." Not desperate to point it was the other way around. Or even just say; "we had an argument and to be honest I cried and she felt very bad about it." Instead it was "SHE made ME cry and SHE APOLOGISED!"

Raises an eyebrow when even a proven, habitual liar fully entrenched in the establishment such as Johnson dodges that question.
