If he is good enough to make our match day squad every week, which he clearly is, then he should not be on loan, and should be here fighting for minutes and selection.
Preston fans are gutted to see him come back. Let’s hope our injury crisis eases and he goes back at the end of the month to complete a full season there. This is great news. Baller.
Judging by the bench we have had the last couple of games, I think he is being brought back to flesh out the matchday squad a bit, rather than going straight into the team.So hope he can fit straight in…. Want this guy to be getting regular play time.
Do we think we will see Moyes putting him into that middle 3 straight away?
It’s been over an hour and I’ve seen nothing from him. Poor playerHe has 20 minutes to prove himself or be written off for good
I'm worried that this might signal the end of us having two keepers on the bench
But how often are we 3 up? Like, he has a massive future with us, I’m just concerned that in a few games time we have numbers back again and then have 6 players ahead of him in the midfield again. (Garner, gana, Tim, Rohl, KDH, Alcaraz) which is where we were at the summer when it was deemed he wouldn’t get enough minutes.
Just don’t want him to end up sitting on our bench barely getting a sniff after the next 4 games which I doubt he starts in. (Maybe starts vs Sunderland in the cup).
Or Alcaraz. Or both!Dewsbury Hill, probably out for a while with this recall.
Has Joey surfaced yet today or is he still sleeping off a hangover from his award winning homemade turnip wine ?
Exactly what I was thinking, added to the afcon players missing it makes sense to get Armstrong back.Dewsbury Hill, probably out for a while with this recall.
