"Ive got no choice "
The Everton manager, who decides on transfers.Never mind Preston.
Who does he think he is handing out personal favours to former clubs with Everton players.

He's not supposed to cut off our nose to spite our face.

The order might be a bit different but he basically says this. He ends it with “we need him at the moment and if he comes in and does well we’ll keep hold of him.”I imagine that’s the most likely outcome, but surely the message should be along the lines of “we need him in the squad while we’re short on numbers, and if he gets and takes his chance there’s every possibility he’ll be with us for the rest of the year. If that doesn’t look like being the case then of course we’ll consider sending him back to continue his development.”
I get that expectations have to be managed, but you’d want to put a positive spin on something like this, rather than just Dour Davey doing Dour Davey stuff.
Anyway, it is what it is. Centre mid has gone from a years-long horror show for us into an area we can potentially get excited about. Garns, Tim, Charly, Merlin and Armstrong could be a strong central midfield armoury for years to come.
He will definitely light it up in training, especially with lads around him.The order might be a bit different but he basically says this. He ends it with “we need him at the moment and if he comes in and does well we’ll keep hold of him.”
Just to reiterate, Dave backed Benitez to the very end.maybe support a different team you dyche lover

The way I look at it is that he is 18 and preferably we wouldn’t need to recall him as he’s done really well on loan and getting loads of game time. We’re bringing him back to have another player on the bench given currently it is mainly occupied by two keepers and a bunch of kids.He will definitely light it up in training, especially with lads around him.
Just needs more than 10min cameos on the field..

I fully expect him to only get cameos (unless we get more injuries) and then when KDH, Ndiaye and Gana return we send him back to Preston to play out the rest of the season.
We are not going to send him back just to help Preston, only if we don’t really need him and his development is better served playing regularly for a Championship team chasing promotion.
If he gets his chance makes goals - he will make a fool of everyone who thinks he's better on loan back at Preston- it's forecast we will not do much in the transfer market in January.....Totally mate
Would have preferred to have not been in this situation to bring him back.
Why upset the apple cart when it's working out well for him at Preston.

KDH injury may ge far worse than it seems he's not even on the grass as yet......
