I don’t get this. He’s not shown anything as an attacker. And he’s what, the fifth best deeper central midfielder? I mean I’m in favor of playing younger guys to let them develop so if he’s going to drop Gueye and let Tim and Armstrong have at it fine. I think Tim is a significantly better player right now.

I think Armstrong is already the better player and far higher potential.

He's not an attacker and needs to play midfield. He's easily third best midfielder.

Well then we need to be playing a flat midfield trio in a 4-3-3 to accommodate KDH, Garner, Armstrong, Rohl, Tim & Gana. And we need to be playing two proper full backs… even if it is Myko and Patterson.

It’s as plain to see as a Bulgarian pinup.

There isn’t actually anything, anything at all, that he isn’t good at. I watched him score a hat trick for the under 18s as a 10, do more than anyone else to keep Derby up as a playmaking 6, then drive Preston into the play off spots as a hard running 8. He can pass, win the ball, press, shoot, head and is quick.

Absolutely. I think his game is more suited to a league where more play goes through the midfield, than playing for Preston in the Champ, where it sailed over his head a fair bit.
