2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Played ok. Did some nice things. Got caught in possession a few times though and looks very one footed. The outside of the foot pass can be a good option but it shouldn't be the default. Went missing in the second half.
Like the rest of the team - look at their goal Tarks running back flat footed .... HA had a very good game - the 2nd half you can not afford passengers & Barry & Dwight were just that IMO - the team fell back - more home points lost ....

What isn't happening ?
Tim & HA & Garner ran that midfield in the first half - the tackle down HA calf was a straight red IMO .... HA looked class - his substitution for Rhol - gosh how slow is he ?

If DM sends HA back to Preston - ? really you could send our left back & Dwight TBH .... they looked more like championship players to me tonight add Barry too..... I doubt we would miss them much .....

He won't be going back now mate, he is all yours !!

Only 2nd game back and he's already in the starting lineup ahead of your favourite player "Rohl"

Each player out there, 'including Jack' looked comfortable passing to him, Which hasn't always been the case this season.

Moyes chose/not forced to start a teenager, that shows alot ( especially from him )

Joseph, that is what half a season playing regularly gets you..

Now repent your sins of cursing the loan system..

( Just let it play out tho, don't overhype expectations too early )

Instantly turning into our best midfielder available after less than 90 mins back. Comfortable on the ball, tries to drive forward... actually looks for forward passes. Refreshing to see.

Hope we can manage him correctly and keep him for the rest of the season now. Will be great with him and KDH in the middle.

Excellent spatial awareness, plays with maturity. Went missing for parts of the game and lost out of a few duels, but generally very very intelligent with the ball at his feet. Definetly needs time to adjust to teammates around him (something he won't get in the immediate future) but shows that bringing him back from loan and putting him in the team isn't a bad decision at all.
How did I get to 50 y/o and still think it was spacial (space) ????

Im going to use this word all the time now, waiting to correct others

….Moyes recalling him and giving yet another Everton teenager their first PL start, I can’t see him starting ahead Garner, Gueye and Iroegbunam but he looks more composed and superior in possession to Rohl at this point in time.

Be interesting if he goes back to PNE or stays.
I would say he’s tidier than Irogbeaunum and more intelligent with the ball. Looked to have more in the tank as well.
Whether he’s ready to play every game at this level I’m not so sure, but I would say the same for Irogbeaunum also.

….wouldn’t disagree with that, he’s got better quality than Iroegbunam and might be more of a goal threat in time.

I don’t think he’s currently ahead of him in terms of power, physicality and athleticism but his ceiling is higher. Iroegbunam is staggering at times, he runs past top flight footballers at ease so I’d not be thinking Harrison is ahead of him just yet.
