We can get any manager sign any player and they'd be crap within a few weeks if we haven't done the treble
Sam allardyce has managed about 1000 football clubs and look what the gravy guzzler did for usNever managed a single football club, never mind a Premier league one. Massive no from me
Pep lost to Norwich and NewcastleManaged one City game at home to Lyon and lost. Guardiola then battered the same Lyon team away from home. No. Players who won nothing with us (good as he was) don’t automatically deserve to be our manager because he’s had a few years putting the cones out for one of the worlds best managers in charge of the worlds best team.

Alongside Tim Cahill a great partnership - we only seem to win anything with ex players = Fact........ Harry Catterick - Howard kendall - Joe Royle ...
what a great Manager arteta and Cahill as his assistant in Tim Cahill would make - they know the club they know how to play football in the correct way ........
And they knew how to win, its a definite yes for me. I read an article recently by Cahill and as he said although he was not a very tall player he scored more than half his goals with his head, he could teach some of our players how to do it. Yes please to Arteta and Cahill for me.Alongside Tim Cahill a great partnership - we only seem to win anything with ex players = Fact........ Harry Catterick - Howard kendall - Joe Royle ...

Since 1939 we've only ever won things with ex-players as managers, one of whom won nothing with us as a player. We’ve only ever won anything with ex-players who’ve won things as players with us, so it’s a no from me.
Id go with that, have a good clean out, last 8 trophies we won were with ex players managing the clubWhat you say is true but I think historically there was always a chance that a player who took up management had a chance of ending up here and we had a better chance to win a trophy before the elite was grown out of the premiership.
Arteta should go earn his spurs elsewhere first just like Royle did at Oldham. I doubt Arteta loves the club like Joe does though to be that bothered and make it more than just a job.

Same here, my imagination also says it could be great and I could imagine Cahill would put a rocket up most of the current crop. Am I thinking too muchThe romantic in me screams yes!
Why on earth would Mikel want to manage us and completely ruin his career?
