GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

How many of the Liverpool shows have you been to Danny? I ended up going to all bar the Raw taping last year and the first show in April 08

All expect one I think mate - they are a great laugh. There is a huge stigma attached to wrestling because it's 'fake' or 'for children' and all the other ignorant comments that get thrown about. I've been a huge fan since I was a kid, me and a few mates watch it regularly and have piss ups on certain PPV's and live shows, it's great! The tapings was great, CM Punk had just started the pipebomb thing and Kevin Nash had even come over on the tour.

I've seen pretty much all the huge stars over the years, the DX tour was great - couldn't believe I actually saw Shawn Michaels in the flesh. There are a few who I haven't seen that I'm gutted I haven't - Undertaker being one of those and The Hardy Boys too. I'd obviously love to see The Rock. And despite the fact I'm not a huge Cena fan it's pretty cool hearing his music hit and seeing him live, he does have a huge aura about him.

Me and my mates plan on doing Mania' in 2014 fingers crossed.

I'm surprised they didn't say he's not actually dead and still waiting to make his shock return, that one got floated around for a while after his death and some people actually believed it.

Yeah that DX Invasion tour show in 09 was brilliant for me being an HBK mark. Best match I've seen on any tour though was Punk v Jericho on the Mania Revenge tour as Ricky Steamboat done a run in at the end which was awesome to see as he was another of my faves growing up

Rock is now being advertised as appearing at the Elimination Chamber ppv in February.

So that means he'll be on/wrestling at the first 3 ppvs of 2013.

Get BBC 4 on now, hour long documentary on the history of British wrestling.
