GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Ha! Definitely.

Me and a mate at work spend a lot of our days making up what should happen and then saying we should work for them!

Problem is that they really are pretty crap creatively. The last few months have highlighted it. They completely botched the Survivor Series and had to backtrack badly. I have easily a 90% success rate with predictions as there's been little to no surprise in the outcome of matches for a good three years.

He'll have to turn up at some point soon to start the build up for his tittle match at the Rumble. Was hoping he'd turn up and interfere in CM Punks match as revenge for the attack earlier in the year, but that's obviously out of the window with him being injured.

I'd expect him on Raw soon enough. But they usually advertise him as he draw more buys. Especially for a PPV.

Couldn't agree more mate. It's just so obvious.

They've ruined some of the best story lines of recent memory over the last couple of years. First they ruined Nexus/Wade Barrett when they should have put the title on him over Cena or used it as a catalyst for a Cena heel turn. Then the CM Punk return with the belt conspiracy which ended up with HHH and Kevin Nash. From what I hear, they pretty much change their plans right up to matches actually taking place, and some times it really shows by how illogical the booking gets.

Mate. Cena will never turn heel.

Not ever.

Took me a whole to realise this. But it's never gonna happen.

He so badly needs it though. He's beyond stale with his current superman Cena character.

I think they will at some point, but before it happens they need another uber babyface to be "the man" A Cena heel turn would be on par with Hulk Hogans, and a mega heel cena would be a great way of getting new face talent over.

Big problem is Cena's the cash cow in terms of merchandise sales to their current main target audience in the kids.

If you could run the show-[goes to anyone],what story lines etc would you have, who would turn heel apart from cena,or turn face,What rivalry would you create etc etc.

Exactly mate.

It's not that he doesn't need it. It's that they won't do it.

How boss was it when he went back to the Dr of Thuganomics in the Rock build up?! Was awesome. Not just because it was old Cena, but because it was Cena actually doing something different for once.

Current Cena blueprint:

1. Come out and make a poopie joke

2. Ignore what opponent is saying and pull funny faces

3. Overcome the odds with "5 moves of doom"

4. Repeat

Oh so stale. That Thuganomics Cena for the one night was brilliant (as was the Rock concert) as you say because it was something not seen for so long.

Just watching Wrestle Talk TV on Challenge.

What a massive nobhead the presenter bloke is

However, interesting that TNA are doing that British Bootcamp thing. I've seen that Rockstar Spud guy before. He might win it.

So TLC is on in just over an hour and one of the main focal points for tonight is the in ring tv debut (they did a run through on a house show last night) of the Shield as they take on Tag Champs Team Hell No and Ryback in a 6 man TLC match with nothing up for grabs

Also tonight sees Dolph Ziggler put his MITB case on the line in a Ladder match against John Cena that may or may not involve AJ, the mid card gets a focus as Kofi Kingston defends his IC title against Wade Barrett while Antonio Cesaro defends the US title against R Truth and the Number 1 contender's for Hell No's tag titles will be decided as Rhodes Scholars meet Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in a Tables match

With no CM Punk due to injury, the World Heavyweight title takes centre stage over the WWE belt as Sheamus goes for his 4th World and WWE title at the very event he won his first 3 years ago when he takes on World champ the Big Show in a Chairs match

All this will be preceded by a Christmas themed Diva's Battle Royal on the Youtube pre show where the winner will be Number 1 Contender to Eve's Divas Title

If anyone gets one of those internet equivalents of the run or flow of water in a continuous current in a specified direction, which relates to this WWE pay per view, then I'd appreciate it if you PM'd me with details of said phenomenon.
