GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

It was brilliant, had them eating out of the palm of his hand indeed!

You have to laugh though, the idiots in the crowd booed the hell out of him for WWE daring to push him down their throats................then cheered when the guy responsible came out.

Yep, and the rest of the roster would kill for that kind of crowd reaction....

Found the 'we want Balor' chants funny too tbh....Balor is being pushed just as hard as Reigns, fans just don't seem to have realised that yet.... Give it 6 months and he'll be getting booed too if Wwe aren't careful.... Actually thought when Balor got injured it was a blessing in disguise for him, cause it was way too soon to win the title...

As for women. Alexa Bliss has the nicest ass in the world. So her.

Cos that's what's important  Way to give Chico & co more amunition!! :p

He's coming!

YEAOH.

Balor isn't getting pushed as THE guy though.

Yep.

There's a big difference between the two as well. Balor has done the lot around the world and is ultra slick in the ring, whereas Reigns... honestly, just no.

He's improved, but I said he was a weird call-up to The Shield because he was incredibly green in NXT, and he was a weird choice to push to the moon.

That isn't jumping on the bandwagon either - I said this in 2014.

Reigns is still far too green in the ring to benefit from the push he's going to get. And on the mic.

In fact, just in general. He was always the weakest link of The Shield, even prior to their call up to the roster.

He should be entering the main event scene around now; what's butchered him is the fact he was pushed two years too early, because as average he is in the ring and bad on the mic as he is right now, he was 10x worse over the last two years.

At least with Cena I can understand it - great mic skills, marketability to the really young - but with Reigns... I really can't. For those saying, "oh but look at his merch" - that really isn't an argument; even Heath Slater with this same mega push would sell shirts to kids. The issue is the long term health of the product, and Reigns has so many limitations that he's barely watchable.

Apparently there will be a lot of trades this Monday. More than expected anyway.

Fairly sure Enzo & Cass to Smackdown, possibly, weirdly, Charlotte to Smackdown, and either Reigns or Lesnar too.

Not heard many rumours of the other way though. AJ was mentioned ages as going to Raw but I hope not as I want Styles Nakamura soon as possible.

I don't mind Reigns at all talent wise. He always puts on decent matches, is fairly smooth and believable, has a great look and is fine enough on the mic.

His problem is that he is basically Poochie.

The main issue is the fans just don't want him as the superman next big thing type guy. They have booked him horribly too, from being a complete dick to Rusev and Lana, to how looking like a massive tart in the Rumble, nothing has made sense from a fan favourite point of view.

People like the main guy these days for their "everyman" qualities (not always but often). Reigns is a guy who has been handed everything, succeeded at everything he does, your significant other wants him and you cant do a damned thing about it because he could kick your arse.

Why would anyone cheer that? People hate THAT guy.

While I agree with a lot here, the merch point is valid. He's making money for them. Lots of it. Why risk it on someone else who might not?

Not saying I agree with Reigns being in your face all the time, but I can understand it. And i certainly can't go over the top on it, he gets a reaction, i'm yet to hear much of a pop for Balor on Raw sadly. Not yet anyway.

I do think a lot of teases this past week have been done specifically to switch people over. Wouldn't shock me to see Styles and Strowman swap sides (Though the Wyatts being on the same show would be an issue). One of the women have got to change as its gotten stale on Raw. Enzo and Cass for American Alpha could make sense I suppose. Another Alpha and Revival feud works for me.

Personally I think Balor is pretty dull if he isn't being the Demon.

Mr. Regal apparently said this to someone I know

There's only been two people in WWE history who have walked into a try out and everyone has unanimously gone "Yup, he's a sure fire superstar who is definitely going to make it"

One was The Rock, the other was Roman Reigns

Basically, Vince ain't giving up, so you have the choice of accepting it or doing something else with your free time. It really is that simple

Absolutely agree mate.

For me (and HHH apparently) he's basically been the heel people seem to want him to be for months anyway in everything bar the label.

Yup, they ain't arsed that people are booing him

He sells merch and gets a superstar reaction every time he walks out

They love him

Literally the only way that Reigns stop getting pushed is if people stop reacting or people just stop going to the show, and I can't see that happening. No matter how rotten we were the past two seasons I kept rocking up to Goodison and travelling to away games. Long time WWE fans are the same, they won't be able to kick the habit. Thus they'll show up and boo, but WWE already has their money at that point so they'll just laugh their way to the bank
