That would let him drop the title and not come back so it would make sense story wise and put reigns over as champion
 
Rock vs Brock would have been a heck of a WM main match if they were both several years younger but still had the same draw as they enjoy now.
 
I miss Big Show's ridiculous novelty matches at mania.

Just watched his Mayweather one. It's actually better than I remember. Very entertaining.

What others could he have?

He could bring back his Conan the barbarian gimmick. Or the run of different gimmicks each wee he had before they realised the had a 7 foot wrestler to use.
 
If you live in Liverpool or the wider Merseyside area, a new local channel 'Bay TV Liverpool' launched today. It airs on Freeview channel 8, and Virgin Media cable channel 159.

The TV Guide has it down as showing a 30 minute wrestling show tomorrow night at 10:30pm, then repeated 4pm to 5pm on Saturday afternoon, and 9am to 10 am and 9:30pm to 10:30pm on Sunday.

Not sure what promotion it will consist of, or what it will be comprised of. The brief on-screen synopsis says 'British wrestling', so we shall see.

Great little spot for a promotion though. Good to see a new tv channel giving wrestling a timeslot.
 
Before his injury wwe were really pushing reigns....seemed obvious it would be Brock vs Reigns at Mania...might still happen...definitely see Rollins cashing in at Mania, and winning the title (they've invested too much time into him) and they can't do Brock vs Rollins...

Cena will win at TLC (probably with interference from reigns or Orton) setting up the rumble between brock & Cena ( there's no one else who they can put brock with right now)....

not sure how they get there, but clearly Cena will end up bringing back HHH & Steph before mania (sting vs HHH seems likely.....rock vs HHH rumoured too though)....
 
There's no chance Rollins will cash in at WM31 - that show is all about Reigns coronation as the new WWE Champion.

Rollins has just under 3 months afterwards to do a sneaky screw job cash in. Reigns is basically going to be the new Cena, the Superman-esque top star.
 
Reigns is still far too green in the ring to benefit from the push he's going to get. And on the mic.

In fact, just in general. He was always the weakest link of The Shield, even prior to their call up to the roster.

Roman Reigns is not going to pull up too many trees, strange inclusion for a call up to the main roster. Came across as pretty bog standard.

Indeed, this comment from 2012 still holds true for me. It's weird how WWE tend to go for "the look" rather than talent.
