Cut down on the bread mate, and the potatoes. I've had to, despite loving both.

I'd be focusing on getting back in shape coupled with an improved diet before looking at creatine or protein shakes to be honest. But that's me and plenty more on here will know more about that than me. WHERE'S MADDISON FFS?

It's all good habits and not making excuses. I'm having a bit of a blow out now so although I'm training just twice a week to tick over, the hard work will start in earnest for me again next month. I won't do anything until I've lost a bit of the puppy fat I've accumulated.

More calories mate, Use atleast once every day.

I do try. Training days usually have 2 shakes with oats, with 1 a day on non training days.

I'm trying to gain weight, but my metabolism is so fast that I drop a few pounds if I ever even miss one meal. Nightmare.

Same here mate, always been like that. Just have to be dedicated to my diet and training and slowly things do improve.

How old are you mate? I used to be like that until I was about 27 and now I long for those days ffs.

I'm 23 mate. I know it won't last forever like. Whenever I lament it I'm always told I'm lucky and to stop moaning.

Yeah I need to work on my diet. I haven't been able to get to the gym at all in over a week and I've felt the effects big time, it just seems to drop off me.

I used to aswell mate. It's weird how it happens, can't eat or bevvy f all now without piling it on.

Add more calories to your diet and maybe get on the protein shakes for directly after your work outs.

I suppose I should make the most of it while it lasts then!

I think I just need a bit more of everything really, and getting the protein in straight after the gym is a good shout. Cheers.

This used to make me absolutely fume!

Haha, I get it all the time. Sometimes I just moan to get a reaction out of my very slow metabolism friends.

I managed to hit the gym. Didn't die so it must've made me stronger.
Was surprised that I actually did alright, went easy on my legs tho', have two games on wednesday and my ham's been acting a bit funny.

Whats your goal mate, gaining or losing weight?

Both.
Gain a bit muscle and burn some fat. Figured with readding gym I'll gain muscle and combined with 2-4 times footie a week and some jogs I should be able to burn the 0,5-1 stone of love handles.

I think if I just cut down on the drinks I'll lose the excess :)

If they say the average male should eat 2500 calories, 95g fat and 30 satuarates, and i eat less than half that while doing a physically active job, biking 3-4 miles a day and playing 90 mins of football once a week i should lose weight right?
