Heh. Well this was the second time I went to run. I think I ran twice in January before the cold set it but last friday I did my first run of the spring and only managed to run 7.4km. Could've done more I guess but I just felt disinterested. I normally go run around a bay and only decide on the spot if I'll make another round or not. I think I'll try to go to the gym tomorrow, will be interesting to see how bad I do.

Tbf I ran about an hour and a bit more, so not so unfit. Football defo helps there. Clocked myself at 8 min jogging - 2 walk. Not bad for a first try, it has to be said. Happy about that.

It's the latter mate haahaha. I definitely wouldn't say i'm a monster, I know so many people who are a lot bigger than me and struggle to lift anywhere near as much which I never really understood, i'm strong but definitely not overly big imo.

I wouldnt even be able to rep 15kg on one arm.

I'm puny but I'm trying ffs. Gym 4 times a week. Defo need more of a plan though. I kind of just do a bit of everything and dont push myself too hard.

What happened with me was I used to weigh about 101.5kg, but I was ****ing fat (only 5 ft 8). Anyway, I lost about 18kg in 6 months and got to a pretty good size. Problem is I lost so much muscle and strength along the way. Even before I wasn't exactly overly strong (no where near what i'm doing now).

So my training routine for every different muscle was to lift as heavy as possible for low reps for the first few sets, and then drop the weight on my last couple of sets. This, combined with doing negatives, built my strength up so damn quickly. I was struggling so damn hard on 35's each side about 5-6 months ago, but as soon as I changed my training routine that changed.

Another thing, if you're trying to manage weight as well, doing long sessions of low intensity cardio probably isn't going to help you gain muscle. Try to high intensity intervals instead eg. sprinting or going hard on the bike or whatever. Why do you think sprinters are big and ripped.
