I cant recall one single example of a terrorist attack by "them". The UK has never had an ingrained culture of Black v White. Thats not to say we are a model of racial perfection as a nation, but more that there may be some loons using social media, that will never be mainstream.

Sorry, I worded that part poorly. What I meant was they have considered the risk of far right terror attacks and concerns around far right groups to be significantly growing, though, I would say that Jo Cox’s murder was perpetrated by a far right terrorist by definition.

Regarding the black vs white part, I’m not sure I’d entirely agree there, I’d perhaps say it’s less obvious here, but the institutionalised aspects of racism are very much alive in the United Kingdom, and we do have (admittedly rarely) still have cases where police have gone too far such as what happened to Mark Duggan, and Jean Charles de Menezes

Also the guy who drove into worshippers outside a mosque in London a couple of years back and killed someone. A guy a few years ago who stabbed a muslim to death in the west midlands and placed bombs near mosques. We also had a right wing group convicted for plotting to kill my MP Rosie Cooper

Because they usually get caught before committing the act of terrorism. There have been quite a few planned right wing attacks in the UK over the years.... the most recent one being a teenage neo nazi got sent down for 6 years at the start of the year for planning an attack on synagogues.

There was also Darren Osbourne who tried to run over muslims outside a mosque a few years back as well.

Overall though you’re correct, it’s not as big a problem as in the US

Yes I agree. The problem is we are getting these micro condensed news stories, when the real stories are far more convoluted. For example antifa is often described as this terrorist organisation but to my knowledge it has no leaders or manifesto. The looters, in many circumstances are people just taking advantage of the chaos. Yet we hear that they’re all antifa members etc. It’s an attempt to discredit legitimate protest in my opinion.

Renshaw wasn’t a loon though , I mean he might be , he was part of a now banned organisation trying to prepare for a race war and kill another mp . When he had a minute In between grooming children.

I take your point in that it’s less ‘organised ‘ but we’re behind them culturally in relation to this but with the internet and the prominence of the likes of SYL and others plus the fact they’ve been energised by trump , Johnson , Muslim extremism , brexit and the rest I suspect more is coming .
