I genuinely don't understand how making the right call is "death" unless their lives were genuinely at risk. Their lives were never in jeopardy. He is allowed to own and carry a firearm by the constitution. The policy not liking that has nothing to do with the other. The fact that some police officers do a no-knock warrant and get shot at/shot and the guy gets a HUGE charge for attempted murder of a police officer is insane. How is one supposed to know what is going on? They didn't identify themselves as police in this video either nor did they show their badge to him as they stood outside the view from the eye-hole thing.

Phoenix police identify man fatally shot by officers in Ahwatukee Thursday
Police identified the man as 40-year-old Ryan Whitaker.
The officers responded to a PHYSICAL and Verbal domestic violence call at 11pm.
They clearly knocked and identified themselves as police officers. The suspect opened the door and advanced in an aggressive manner stating “WHAT”
While tucking a handgun in right rear of shorts.
Officer 2 had a visual of suspects hand move toward shorts. Officer 2 discharged firearm to stop the threat. This all occurs in split seconds. Remember there is also a female inside. The officers could not let man re enter apartment and possibly end up with a barricaded subject and possible hostage.
Terrible situation for all parties however this will be ruled as a Justifiable use of force. It does not matter if he was a registered gun owner, that is no excuse for his actions while answering the door to police officers

That may be true or not, but does not address the points made in any material way. Why do you prefer to attack the person rather than the facts of the case?
