No riot gear, batons, tear gas, military vehicles, etc.
Largely in their every day attire; all very causal. Many if not most even have their backs to the protesters/marchers....looking for the threat to come from outside this group.
Compare that to the BLM marches.

Many police during BLM protest never wore riot gear, used tear gas military vehicles. You seen a very small portion of the country that was caused from RIOTS, ARSON, ASSAULTS, BATTERY, ETC... New Orleans police never had to get in riot gear. Baton Rouge Police never had to get in riot gear. Many other places never had to. (Although 1 instance of tear gas was used on the bridge since the police asked them not to continue over it and to turn back. The peaceful protest continued after that) As soon as this group becomes aggressive, threatening, and burning building or breaking the law, I hope they all get lit up by some rubber bullets and tear gas. You just have to hope the BLM movement doesnt try to face them because you will have a much more violent Charlotte happen. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with the speech they may be giving or the words they are saying but it is protected under the 1st amendment...

This is exactly when the movement starts to lose traction. You concede on any demands and the loud overbearing minority take over and ruin everything so nothing actually gets done.

Abolish them and then "We demand autonomy be given to the people to create localized anti-crime systems."
History is littered with that kind of thing and it does not go well for those that deviate from the accepted norm or those who upset the lawmakers. I'm all for sweeping reforms in the justice system but this kind of thing is pure naivety.
