Rochester NY, it's thankfully calmed down the last couple days but people are concerned about the weekend.
Really man? Where are you from? I don't own a gun. I feel safe, I'm not doing anything to escalate situations. My city is on edge right now, and it's a relatively small city. All I was doing was relaying the crap I'm seeing. My boss was called by a priest saying his store was specifically going to be targeted. A man he doesn't know at all, he just was reaching out to local businesses because they didn't create this mess. And destroying them does nothing.

I don't know, but I do know that these "operator" entities are somewhat cowboys when it comes to gear so I don't know that we can rely on that. The only reason I'd second-guess myself is that they look very "operator-ish" which traditionally has been avoided (particularly in a situation like this?).

Appreciate the kind words. I manage a liquor store. 12 liquor stores on the east side of my city, which is where we are, were looted Saturday night. Some people aren't reopening. One owned by a family for 50 years is just calling it quits. A black owned one opened 3 months ago was destroyed and they don't know if they'll reopen.
It really is a crappy situation. We've been lucky. We didn't get hit Saturday, and by Sunday the police presence was crazy. I do worry about this weekend. Everyone is on edge it's crazy, and I think that environment leads to bad things.
Again appreciate it, others are worse off, we'll get through this and for the better hopefully. The protestors message can't be missed because of some kids acting like fools
That's horrible. We're so divided and everything seems so exacerbated, I really worry about the future. Of course I'm probably hyperbolic because of the last few days, but stuff is messed up
