Hilarious.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?

I don't pay much attention to them, mate. Ba was great.

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?

He's clearly a prick. Check out his comments about Everton for proof. He had that shoved right back in his face.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?

10th - 13th

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
Around 5th or 6th. Hopefully do well in at least one of the cups.

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
I would have liked to have seen McMannaman brought in from Wigan to play in front of Coleman on the right. Then we could play Mirallas behind Jelavic or Kone which I think would be a big threat.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
Negredo, Navas.

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
Mirallas. Barkley if he gets a run of games. If Jelavic can get his form back (or even close) from the first season then we would be in a great position.

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
Naismith. Not a premier league player.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
The opening game, the derby home and away, the final game of the season.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
Most - Cardiff. Least - Liverpool and Man United.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Cahill 1 - 0 to seal our 4th placed finish in 04/05.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
Not got much of an opinion on it. He doesn't come across as the most intelligent bloke though.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Ben Arfa, Cisse if he could do what he did in his first season (like Jelavic)

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
He's an absolute **** and the 8 year contract was a ridiculous decision by the club.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
I think you under performed last season but massively overperformed the season before. I would expect you to finish between about 9th-12th.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
Second 5. Cup run.

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
Right wing (we'll see if Deulofeu is up to the job ). Striker (Same for Kone). Centre Mid (perhaps Barkley can step up)

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
Fer. Jovetic.

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
Mirallas, if he stays fit. I'd like to see Ross Barkley get more games though.

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
Naismith and Pienaar.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
First game. Christmas run (because I get back home). This year - Man Utd game at Goodison.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
I look forward to all Everton games.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Last season. Baines' free kick. Was in Amsterdam with my brothers celebrating the youngest's 18th birthday. A good night was had by all.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
A man who should have retired 15 years ago and who should have kept his trap shut. He's a dope, to be honest.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Krul. Cabaye.

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
He's an embarrassment to be honest. I used to think he was sound until I actually listened to the drivel he spouted most of the time he opened his trap.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Mid-table, decent chance of top half

All right lads, in preparation for the new season I thought I'd get the lay of the land from Premier League clubs before it kicks off and the majority of us are too depressed to answer a bunch of questions from a stranger.

Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I'll be back here to collate them before sticking them on a Newcastle site before the season kicks off.

1) Top 6 with an outside chance at top 4.

2) I'd have said midfield but keeping Fellaini, a healthy Mirallas, and the addition of Deulofeu makes that moot.

3) Deulofeu, Lukaku (for Chelsea now), Paulinho for Spurs.

4) Jelavic. I think Martinez will bring the best out of him and frankly, we need goals from him.

5) The easy answer would be Naismith but I'll go with Pienaar...only because he's a year older

6) Normally Liverpool but this year, for obvious reasons, Manchester United.

7) Away to ManU. We NEVER do well there.

8) Not to do with us but I still remember the 4-4 barnburner you had with Arsenal with Tiote scoring the big goal.

9) Probably the same as the Newcastle supporters. "What the heck is Ashley doing here?"

10) Krul and Cisse

11) Sorry but honestly, an average manager with a mouth. I'm sure some Newcastle supporters feel the same.

12) If Pardew can shut up for a bit, and you can avoid injuries, top ten isn't out of the realm of possibility at all for NUFC.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?

same again - 6th. FA Cup - 1/4 or semi .. top of the Fair Play league (unless Felli stays)

good box to box midfielder with goals in him.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?

Fer, Negredo

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?

Mirallas, Coleman

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?

Naismith, Jelavic, Osman

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?

The derby and the RS/Utd (the venom may be even more heightened given the Moyes factor)

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?

West Ham (as we invariably play well there) / Hull (toilet)

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?

Never made pro terms but I had a recurring dream when I scored a hatrick, left Malcolm MacDonald for pace all evening and ended up taking the back legs out on some hippy chick whom I picked up on the floating disco.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?

Lunacy, almost deliberate attempt to seriously destabilize the club

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?

Ben Arfa. Least - Jonas (simply embarrassing)

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?

Tosser with an incredibly stupid, overly generous contract. Bad business.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?

I fear for you. The background shenanigans will distract everyone at the club. you will be lucky as I can see at least 2 clubs who have no chance.

Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I'll be back here to collate them before sticking them on a Newcastle site before the season kicks off.

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Top Class Forward is badly needed

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Negredo and Fer as we had interest in them in Jan

Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Mirallas. He'll be talked about next summer the same way Baines and Fellaini are now.

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Phil Neville went back to Utd mate - the coast is clear!!

Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Red ****e, Mancs, Arse and Spurs.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Chelsea

What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Last seasons home game for the wrong reasons - blind linesman.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? Awful. I actually feel sorry at times for the genuine NUFC fans. It brings back some awful memories of a previous chairman of ours.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Ben Arfa
Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? I hate him like no other. He's an embarrassment.

10th to 14th with Pardew to get the bullet early doors.

Thanks for the answers, the finished (badly edited/formatted) thing is here.

Good work Fish, although I think you made us sound a bit lke we gave you nobhead answers and I think our lads we're quite sound, but other than that, some excellent stuff mate. Love the graphs and that, very good stuff.

Also in that Pardew answer, I know you've done it because of swearing, but I never called him a 'twit'. Coming from Bootle I don't think i've ever used the word 'twit' in my life.

Hahahahahahaha i'm just being picky mate, seriously, really really good stuff, make sure you come back and post again!

I did try and get a balance of opinion, but I've got to make it interesting haven't I? Less fun if everybody is nice to each other... ;) I was serious about not understanding some of the answers though. What was meant by "Kopites of the North"? The stereotypical flaws that Liverpool fans have are;
a victim complex
a league arrogance not supported by league performance
offended by everything
ashamed of nothing.

Our stereotypes are;
deluded mags
"We're the best fans in the world"
Geordie nation

So I don't see how being baffled & embarrassed that we've employed an incompetent, unhinged, idiot makes us like the Red Peril? I know it shouldn't bother me as it's just "banter", but I just don't understand it. And yeah, I still don't understand the depth of the enmity Everton fans have towards Newcastle.

Oh and the "twit" thing is due to a profanity filter at work. You've got no idea how long I spent removing the swear words, then replacing them after. Yours slipped through the net I'm afraid.
