All right lads, in preparation for the new season I thought I'd get the lay of the land from Premier League clubs before it kicks off and the majority of us are too depressed to answer a bunch of questions from a stranger.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?

European football

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?

Decent backup for Gibson, DM, Probably a striker, too.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?

Gerard Deulofeu

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?

Kevin Mirallas

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?

I see Jelavic picking up where he left off last season and/or being sold.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?

The derby, Christmas, run in, nearest aways to me.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?

The 5hite at Anfield is probably the answer to both.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Was nice giving Pardew a footballing lessons back end of the season before last, when Cahill went for the snide Cabaye.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?

Not arsed. Typical Newcastle, really.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?

None instantly spring to mind. Krul is quite a useful keeper.

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?

Hate that cocknose. Nothing but a spiv and a chancer.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?

Bottom half.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? European football ideally. A cup would be fantastic as long as we finish in a respectable league place (7th-10th).

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Could do with another dynamic midfielder I reckon. Honda would be class if we could get him.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Deulofeu out of the players we have signed so far.

Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Jelavic I hope, really need him to recapture form. If he does we could be in for a big season.

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Gut feeling is that it'll be Fellaini because he won't be interested and we'll end up selling him in January.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Probably Stoke and Newcastle (no offence). Just because it's always a real battle up there and they're games I always just want out of the way.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Probably in '05 when we beat you at Goodison to pretty much guarantee top 4.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? Mike Ashley is the only owner in the league I'd have Kenwright over. Ashley doesn't even pretend he's arsed about the club's fans. He's embarrassed Newcastle with this Joe Kinnear appointment, it's clearly because he wants shot of Padrew without paying any of the massive compensation. Shame to see a club just embarrass itself and its fans so publicly and carelessly. (By the way, I got about 500 RTs for posting the joke about Yohan Cabaye's wife being called Donna haha.)

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Probably Cisse when he's on form. I rate Tim Krul very highly too.

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? Don't like him but I have sympathy for him over this Kinnear debacle. That comment about being in a "different league" was idiotic at the time and really came back to bite him on the arse as the season wore on. I think when he inevitably parts ways with Newcastle this season that he'll be lucky to walk straight another Premier League job, probably have to drop down to the Championship.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Considering all the crap that's happened and likely to happen a top 12 finish would be a good achievement. I do think you'll finish higher than Sunderland though, DiCanio won't last long there.

:D

Hopefully a top 6 finish with a trophy too. Would prefer the FA Cup but either would do

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
A big powerful CM (I doubt Gibson will remain injury free) and a No 10 (hopefully Barkley and Deulofeu can provide this.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
Deulofeu, see if he's a star in the making, and Fer as I was really hopeful we would sign him.

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
Mirallas and hopefully Barkley. I would love to see Jelavic find his form again too

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
As above regarding Jelavic. I honestly don't know what to expect from him.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Liverpool, Man U and games around family birthdays

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
I would usually say Sunderland but they beat us last season. I suppose the 4 clubs Moyes never won at in the hope that Martinez can break that spell. Although at the same time I hate Derby games. Bring out the worst in me and we never get the rub of the green.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
The 2 matches at Home in 94/95. Newcastle were a fabulous side then and I knew that day when we knocked you out of the cup it was our year. Also the 2-0 was one of the best games I saw under Royle.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
A total farce but funny because of your manager.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Ben Arfa

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
He just comes across as an ungracious clown. I have still never forgotten him punching the air shouting after Bent equalised for Charlton in the 90th min, only for McFadden to go up the other end and score one of the best goals I have ever seen :)

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Very hard to call. Kinnear could potentially cause chaos, but I would think around 12th-14th.

cba with all of it but

Kinnear: His name will become rhyming slang in the North East i.e. making a right Kinnear of things.

Pardew: A new phrase that been added to the French Language, committing a Párdéw : the act of opening ones mouth way to early and ending up with ones foot in it, OR speaking without ones lips moving because you are of course talking out of your arse........ Different League.

Mike Ashley in giving him an 8 year deal has made the worse business decision of his life, that or he wants to be given the Freedom of Sunderland.

Europa Cup qualification via 5th place in the league. We simply don't have the finances to finish higher because of the ridiculous sums being thrown around by Spurs, Chelsea, City and to a lesser extent United and Arsenal. On any given matchday, those first three have subs' benches that cost more than our entire squad, and that's a degree of depth we simply can't match.

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?

In any area where the depth is either non-existent (CM) or a huge drop-off in talent (RM/RW). The loanee from Barca, Deulofeu, MIGHT be the answer on the right, but it's way too early to tell.

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?

I'll admit to a morbid fascination in seeing what on earth Laudrup manages to squeeze out of Jonjo Shelvey. £5m for a Voldemort lookalike seems bonkers to me. Also, the mini-revolution at Carrow Road has got my attention: Redmond and Fer were both names discussed by many Everton fans.

Which of your players do you predict having a big season?

Fellaini. Moving him back to CM will allow him to dominate games. If the referees stop people hacking him down, Mirallas will be huge for us too.

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?

There's going to be tears up front. I cannot envisage a scenario in which Jelavic and Kone BOTH have good seasons. I also think Pienaar is past his prime and may well fall off the cliff performance-wise this season.

Which fixtures do you immediately look for?

The $hite, United, City, Norwich and Newcastle.

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?

Most: Carrow Road. My ex lives there and has kindly arranged some tickets. God willing I shall take her out after the game and sling one up her for old times' sake.
Least: Anfield. The officiating always stinks.

What's your most memorable game against NUFC?

The 4-2 draw last season sticks in the memory for all the wrong reasons. My housemate is a Newcastle fan and he had the good grace to admit that we were robbed.

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?

It's blindingly obvious Ashley is trying to engineer Pardew's exit. The eight-year contract will carry a MASSIVE compensation package if he's sacked, so Ashley has got to find a way to make him quit. Parachuting Kinnear in is a bloody good start towards that aim.

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?

Krul.

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?

He is an average manager with a huge mouth and a stunning lack of perspective and awareness. Some of his remarks about Everton have been totally uncalled for. He does your club's reputation no favours whatsoever. And he appears to be rapidly turning orange.

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?

9th to 12th. Better if you sign a decent striker during this window.

Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I'll be back here to collate them before sticking them on a Newcastle site before the season kicks off.

My thoughts on the matter.

That Shearer volley, even though it was against us, was for me, one of the greatest goals ever

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? 5th/6th and a cup final

Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Midfield and possibly still upfront

Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Fer, Negredo and anyone else we were linked with

Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Mirallas

Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Osman is on the decline, maybe Pienaar also

Which fixtures do you immediately look for? L'pool, Newcastle away

Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Cardiff away as it might be the only game I get to this season :(

What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Our home game last year, we wuz robbed!!!!

Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? He's mental

Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Ben Arfa

Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? Poor manager with a very big mouth/ego

Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
10th
