I'm not going to agree or disagree with this. It doesn't refute my post. That promising to largely give free money to traditional Dem voters helped cement the Dem base. Not sure why you singled out young voters here. The student loan cancellation will have benefited voters well towards middle age too. Also, take exit poll data with a massive pinch of salt. They are notoriously unreliable. The fact is student loan cancellation was the easiest of moves for the Biden Administration. That's not a criticism, it's what a well functioning political administration should do. Plenty of great PR but no financial cost.

Besides kids required to be in school, work placements aside, although I hasten to add I am far from angry, what I see is a means to cut the throats (pardon the pun) of established workers in industry with a demographic legally allowed to be paid less for the same work. There is a problem here, johnny abattoir picking up the ropes at 14 thinks its great, until he hits 21 and then another 14 year old takes his place cos he aint cost effective. Go through enough cycles of this and the effect in the uk currently with policing becomes apparent, trimming the numbers and importantly the experience - you can't just recruit it at the drop of a hat, it takes time and energy to prove oneself capable of such pressure and ability. The rolling less than minimum wage conveyor belt is a great idea in the short term, cut the costs, make your money, drop the dead duck and run. Let someone else clean up...

You do know child labour laws were introduced in the past because children were being exploited to work unsafe conditions, including migrant children, right?

You don't think removing those protections would lead to that exploitation re-ocurring?

Also what happened to the supposed red wave you predicted would sweep Trump to a second term? You know, right before you flounced off the forum and hid for three years?
