Perhaps Beto would do well in another state. I'll give you that. He's a tireless worker and a good retail politician.Seeing a lot of Beto should go away posts. And while I'd vote for him in a dem national primary he's done a decent job helping turn Texas from deep red to red. You have to start somewhere. Carpetbag him into some lean R/purple district see how he does. He's decent in front of a mic and we don't have too many national dems who are.
But I live in a state that's uninterested in politics, generally speaking, as a pathetic % of people vote and those who do are easily swayed by stupid slogans ("don't California Texas" when, in fact, a majority of people from CA who move here are right-leaning) or the latest cultural outrage (the libs are gonna transgender your kid and teach them CRT!!). I'm feeling too old these days to try and change much here. In the future, my efforts will be elsewhere. Especially if my youngest decides to practice medicine elsewhere.
