DeSantis isn't running against trump. IDK DeSantis can win a primary in FL against Trump.
I got asked over and over again if Beto had a chance and the answer is no unless the GOP candidate in a statewide race is a completely odious creature who might be a serial killer, and then he wins by only 3 points (Cruz). The Attorney General who is going to sit for deposition in a felony case in two weeks is cruising to victory.
An unholy alliance of Jeebus people of all colors and big bidness dominates statewide races here.

Seeing a lot of Beto should go away posts. And while I'd vote for him in a dem national primary he's done a decent job helping turn Texas from deep red to red. You have to start somewhere. Carpetbag him into some lean R/purple district see how he does. He's decent in front of a mic and we don't have too many national dems who are.
Feels like a lot of the party apparatus wants DeSantis and he has followers
Going to be interesting to see if he tries
