My father worked over 20 years for this day. Maybe this post was a bit too far but it was a day that my family dreamt about.
I do feel like a twit for posting the message earlier today but at the time, my feelings were very raw and I could not contain myself. Coming from a background like myself, my father worked over 20 years to try to bring change to the Roe v Wade ruling and had paid politicians handsomely to bring a change about. That's why this felt like a special day to me.
For me, repealing Roe v Wade isn't about banning abortion but it's about giving the power to the states to self-govern themselves and align their policies to match the will of the people. That's the biggest thing about today.
emir is a Bosnian/muslim name and he signed up when we bought that Bosnian player but he's going a bit berserk...maybe he/his family emigrated to the US afterwards. What have women's reproductive choices got to do with your father? You seem to hate the idea of the government interfering in any area of your life, but your fine when it comes to women having control over their own bodies.
Islam’s obviously a pretty broad faith, but I seem to recall that several branches have a view that the soul enters the fetus at 120 days, so abortion is allowable before that point. I think most if not all Muslim countries also have legal exceptions for incest, rape and threat to the mother’s life.emir is a Bosnian/muslim name and he signed up when we bought that Bosnian player but he's going a bit berserk...maybe he/his family emigrated to the US afterwards.
A shame rly as I also do have a muslim background...abortion should stay a universal right.
Moving away from religion, the total ban in some states without exceptions for the above is what outrages me the most regarding this entire fiasco.Islam’s obviously a pretty broad faith, but I seem to recall that several branches have a view that the soul enters the fetus at 120 days, so abortion is allowable before that point. I’m not exactly what you’d call a fan of Islam, or any other religion for that matter, but this is clearly a point where specific doctrinal differences between religions have real world consequences, and In this instance Islam is far less problematic than the immovable Catholicism / Christianity position.
How was it before 1973 I wonder? Crazy that rape victims had to go thru that till early 70s.Moving away from religion, the total ban in some states without exceptions for the above is what outrages me the most regarding this entire fiasco.
How can abortion for rape victims, including those of a minor, be denied the right as this will have a huge, long-term and potentially fatal impact on their life.

It's abhorrent how abortion for rape victims, including those of a minor, can denied as this will have a huge, long-term and potentially fatal impact on their life.
It's why I don't think it's hyper-bole to say that American society is regressing. Will they back-track on the Civil Rights Act or for the rights of all, inc. GBTQ+ ?How was it before 1973 I wonder? Crazy that rape victims had to go thru that till early 70s.

I was an unwanted pregnancy for him.How many unwanted pregnancies has your father had?
Pelosi is terribleWhilst Pelosi et al remain at the top of the Democratic Party, these defeats will continue. New blood was urgently needed after 2016, it didn't happen and so here we are.
