Is there anything in the constitution which says abortion is illegal? If not, just pass a federal law permitting it as that will override any state laws.

What have women's reproductive choices got to do with your father? You seem to hate the idea of the government interfering in any area of your life, but your fine when it comes to women having control over their own bodies.

For me, repealing Roe v Wade isn't about banning abortion but it's about giving the power to the states to self-govern themselves and align their policies to match the will of the people. That's the biggest thing about today.

emir is a Bosnian/muslim name and he signed up when we bought that Bosnian player but he's going a bit berserk...maybe he/his family emigrated to the US afterwards.

A shame rly as I also do have a muslim background...abortion should stay a universal right.

Islam’s obviously a pretty broad faith, but I seem to recall that several branches have a view that the soul enters the fetus at 120 days, so abortion is allowable before that point. I think most if not all Muslim countries also have legal exceptions for incest, rape and threat to the mother’s life.

I’m not exactly what you’d call a fan of Islam, or any other religion for that matter, but this is clearly a point where specific doctrinal differences between religions have real world consequences, and In this instance Islam is far less problematic than the immovable Catholicism / Christianity position.

Moving away from religion, the total ban in some states without exceptions for the above is what outrages me the most regarding this entire fiasco.

It's abhorrent how abortion for rape victims, including those of a minor, can denied as this will have a huge, long-term and potentially fatal impact on their life.

How was it before 1973 I wonder? Crazy that rape victims had to go thru that till early 70s.

The supporters of the anti choice movement dont care about victims of paedophilia that's why. It's a pro peadophile/pro rapist movement.
