I don’t actually think he’s a wum. He seems genuine in what he believes, even if those beliefs are misguided or coming from a less than educated place.I honestly don’t understand how such an obvious WUM can continue to get so many bites !
Ben Carson is a huge idiot, no question about it. Our resident adolescent is confusing credentialism with being intelligent. Then he's either lying or (in that particular regard) an idiot. The theory of evolution is not contestable. It is demonstrably true. You can test it. You should question and test it, in fact... because that's how science works.
A nuerosurgeon dismissing a scientific theory as "the work of the devil" is crazy in that it disregards how his field of study developed. Witness

5 Ways Ben Carson Relied On Evolution In His Work
Carson is an author on several publications that rely heavily on that devilish construct known as evolution.www.forbes.com
Believing the world is 10,000 years old requires you to reject centuries of empirical evidence to the contrary. What other motive would there be than lack of education?
there's a difference in basing mandates or even laws on theology as opposed to public safety. Thats in the constitution. What's exactly the confusion here? @BlueTX Is complaining that he doesn't want right-wingers to "impose" their views on the population yet the left-wingers have already imposed their views in many states by enabling vaccine mandates. Isn't that imposing their views?
yea, I'm with you.I don’t actually think he’s a wum. He seems genuine in what he believes, even if those beliefs are misguided or coming from a less than educated place.
ha, that's probably fair!Well either way, he's a wum or almost supernaturally clueless. Don't engage him
You know the answer already though. Even if police may threaten to kill you, and you fear for your life, and it's your right to defend yourself, you know you're going away forever if you kill a policeman or woman. It's perfectly reasonable for American citizens to fear police. Now with the right to openly carry weapons for self-defense and stand your ground laws on the books will the conservative SCOTUS support the right of a citizen to shoot and kill police officers? As a Texan, I have no legal duty to retreat in the face of danger to myself. I also have the right to shoot someone if I believe it necessary to prevent a violent crime to my person.
I have done no wrong. I am being confronted by police and I fear they will harm or kill me. How then, do I not have the right to shoot and kill police officers to protect myself?
Perhaps. However, I think it is an interesting thought/legal excercise. You know the answer already though. Even if police may threaten to kill you, and you fear for your life, and it's your right to defend yourself, you know you're going away forever if you kill a policeman or woman.
