Ahahahah guess who was part of that entourage that attacked Crenshaw? Cassady Campbell. Here's the video.

Ah the guy you are a big fan of and who you claim has become more religious.
Well I'm a big fan of the video creator "Cassady Campbell" and I've been hooked on his videos for some time now, as he makes some quality videos. He has become more religious in recent times and he has formed a closer relationship with God, hence he made that video I linked. I think the video is normal and it's a normal citizen who is expressing his views.

What's your view on the video?
What about his behaviour to others in that first video, or laughing at the protestor getting hit in the face in the second, is praiseworthy or makes you a “big fan”?

And it has been a while since I read the bible but kinda recall something about “Love your neighbor as yourself. Forgive others who have wronged you. Love your enemies. Ask God for forgiveness of your sins.”

It was later in the book though and perhaps he is a slow reader and is still on the Old Testament.

How does that answer my question re Cassady of ”What about his behaviour to others in that first video, or laughing at the protestor getting hit in the face in the second, is praiseworthy or makes you a “big fan”?

Cassady seemed pretty happy about security roughhousing people when it isn’t someone he agrees with.
I am a big fan of Cassady because I find his videos very funny and entertaining, and I find his different characters very entertaining. He also made few videos acting as a "predator poacher" and confronting online predators. Here is a video of him:

I don't think his behavior in that first video was bad at all. He was letting his feelings known to Dan Crenshaw. Laughing at the protestor? Ok fine, maybe that's a bit sketchy.

You ask whether he knows the Bible well? Well, I linked 2 videos on here, one where he goes to his local town hall meeting and talks about the bible in full detail not approving homosexuality and another video where he confronts a LGBT protest. However, both of those videos got taken down by YouTube it seems. So much for freedom of speech.

Hopefully it did make that predator back off and I get the impulse but generally not a fan of vigilante justice, especially if you are using a minor as bait, too many risks of the sting going sideways.

We’ll disagree about his behavior in the first video, thought he was being an confrontational asshat (same goes for the woman protester as well even if I agree more with her position). Think there are ways to protest/disagree and get your point across more effectively that yelling in someone’s face and hurling insults.

Here's the best predator video of his:

It was so good that YouTube decided to take down the original video.

Interesting thread:

Cannot speak specifically to the rest of the thread but Sam Houston was decidedly not in favor of the KGC's plan and his political career was ended when he refused to support the Confederacy. He did not vote to secede from the Union and openly opposed it, the only Southern Governor to do so. He was then forced out of office by the Texas legislature.

Any guess on what this vote will be if this (Texit?) gets enacted?

@BlueTX What's your opinion on Dan Crenshaw being called "eyepatch McCain"?
I've called him worse here. But then I'm of a different political stripe than those in the video.

The GOP in-fighting is fascinating. It's something that was quite rare not so long ago but what was once the fringe of the party is now in ascendancy, at least in terms of its public face.

What think you of GOP attendees of the state party convention discussing dildos, fisting, secession and repeal of Federal voting laws as part of the platform?

You talk about GOP in-fighting as if it's a unique thing in American politics. Why not look any further than the huge split in the Democrat party? AOC isn't even endorsing Biden in 2024, and nor will Sanders. What about the blue-collar workers who staunchly vote Blue in the Appalachian states such as Manchin? I don't think American politics is black and white as people make it sound.

I do think Crenshaw is acting like a globalist and his plans to give so much aid to Ukraine, reaffirms my beliefs. He is not acting in the best interest of Texan people. I think this so-called GOP "in-fighting" exists is because a lot of Americans are feeling disenfranchised by the mainstream politicians and the GOP had to shift even more right, to get these people on their side. America as a country, is becoming more conservative in certain aspects imo.

What do I think about those things in the GOP convention? Firstly, whoever is suggesting secession should be tried for treason and be punished in accordance to our constitution. I think the whole dldos thing is a remnant of the 70s/80s when our society was much more prudish and there had to be a need to crack down on "sexual immorality". Now, I don't live in Texas myself so maybe you can give us context, on how prudish the Texan society still is.
Repeal of the federal voting laws will be very controversial, no doubt about it. I think the most GOP should go is enabling the requirement of voter ID laws, and nobody should have any disagreements with this. Requiring voter ID to vote should be a standard procedure in America, as it is in almost every civilized nation.
