It's interesting with what is currently going on in America how the media can distort truth to tell you a different story to what is really happening. People just buy into everything they read like it's the truth without any leeway that it's not the whole truth.
A Christian centre was firebombed but it was reported as 'a fire broke out'. Just interesting that an illegal act is reported differently to suit a purpose or message , whereas if the party in the wrong was the wrong side of the protest it would be reported differently.
Just interesting to me that purposely burning down somewhere can be told in multiple different ways depending on perspective on who is telling it.
I would love to but Google is only showing up right wing articles and retrospective ones now.Can you show me these reports?

The right wing ones also prove the point though, deflecting what the building was to a more generalised 'christian centre'. So again same story but manipulating the details to emphasise the actions.

How strange.
Perhaps you could use the waybackmachine or a cached version. Or just stop making things up.
Okay, I'm a fair man so I did your research for you. The google search of "christian centre fire breaks out" from 2022 shows one example in February from Georgia where a propane tank exploded during a service with no foul play suspected (from the church's own website) and a second at a residential camp in April from New Hampshire, where wooden framed buildings went up as a wildfire spread. That report is from a wildfire tracking website and various local news.
Were these the ones you were thinking of?
What a shitty response.
In fact why is this a standard response?
There was a shooting story a few years back in America that had the prime suspect as Muslim when the news broke but good luck finding that version now after it was discovered to be a white former marine and every news outlet removed all trace of that casual racism.
But instead of engaging with me , it's making stuff up. No middle ground at all. Especially on a point that probably has thousands of examples from all aspects of the news.
You know what story I'm on about , literally happened a few days ago
But as one of the nobheads have shown up already @JimmyJeffers , I'll bow out because I can't be arsed with that.
No need for that. What a shitty response.

I will reply to this.I literally have no idea which story you're talking about. I googled the phrase you gave and quoted the two stories that came up.
If you have one of the "doctored" reports to share, I can dig into that one since I'm at a loose end, this morning.
The story is to do with the winconsin family action centre btw. Which is difficult to get the initial version of the story and I can't pull feed from a news channel. Was initially reported as fire broken out, Google just gives me the amended version.
Well, here's the first google hit on the story from the day of the attack. You can note the headline.I will reply to this.
If you have no idea what story I'm talking about then how can you accuse me of making it up?
I'd love to talk to you more on it but lessons learned, the minute one of them show up the rest do and it derails a thread so don't really want to be a part of that.
