What are the chances of him getting sent down for murder? Is it very likely or could he somehow get away with manslaughter? I think even with a 15 year sentence and manslaughter charge there would be riots.

That was a pretty big talking point when charges were first laid down. People were adamant it had to be murder, but I think I read a lawyer explaining that with that charge, there has to be proof of intent to kill which may be challenging. I’m not sure how it all works, but I agree with you. Think it’s gonna get ugly even if it ends up being a manslaughter conviction.

Which funnily enough there is no case against him right now. There is an investigation that mentioned his name that they are now looking into.

It’s definitely poor form. In comparison, several Democrats were pushing for Cuomo to resign. I’m all for due process for everyone but this is pretty bad and clearly another example of straight up partisan politics rather than right and wrong.
