“Cole Harris’ unwillingness to fairly address this issues has left us with little recourse,” a spokesman for Majority Strategies told The Daily Beast in a statement. “He ran on a platform of accountability and being a trusted steward of the public’s money. Harris was a risky bet to begin with. The head of a private investment firm in Glendale, he brought personal wealth to his bid for lieutenant governor but little else. He had scant political history, and his Instagram feed is full of uncomfortable motivational quotes, such as: “Hustle or stay broke & mad at other people doing their thing” and “I WORK HARDER THAN AN UGLY STRIPPER.” On Facebook, he once penned a post titled “Voodoo Penis.”
Amazing.
I'm not impressed with Cuomo at all and don't look forward to him running for President (which I think he will do). That said, when I like Cynthia Nixon's indignation, I think she was a poor candidate and shouldn't be governor.

This is almost 13 mins long, but it's absolutely worth it IMO. I have watched it 3-4 times since a friend of mine (moderate-left for what it's worth) sent it to me. It's an eye-opening perspective on how law and policy is created and how the American voter is losing power.
Clearly he doesn't agree with legislative power the Executive Branch has. He doesn't mention it specifically, but I'm sure Executive Orders is a big part. Both Obama and Trump signed a lot of EO's, which can circumvent the Congress. His perspective on The Court and well as federal agencies seems spot on. Basically rips Congress (aggregate, not parties) for avoiding their responsibilities and functions.

Cuomo had the backing of pretty much everyone. He had the major unions so she never really got well organized progressive support from the likes of 'fight for 15'. Also upstate is very blue collar and have no interest in whether the subway runs on time, she never captured their imagination, she couldn't afford to.

This idiot may actually be losing voters. Several people i know who live in Ammar Campas city say that there is a massive swing among young voters especially those of moral and religious values.
In fact a prayer group and several other young generally conservative groups i have on good authority who always support republicans now work on Ammar Campas team and are backing him. I actually know one of them who generally votes Republican and was really surprised to hear he was working with Campas
I guess there may be hope if he doesn't get indicted by the election that is.
Still overall the area Hunter is part of is primarily rural and the smaller cities conservative.
