1200$ to every tax payer plus unemployment? I think thats a fair trade for this next month. Another like 300-500B to small businesses. Back during the big recession it was okay to bailout businesses but this isnt good enough?

Unemployment in Maryland is about $260/wk. A very cheap 2BR apt is about $1200/mo. if you are laid off, you gotta pay for COBRA health insurance starting in April, avg cost about $600/mo for a single individual (a family LOLOL). Money isn't going to go far.

Banks are well capitalized. Big business can get a loan if they need money.

Ron Paul coming out of this very poorly indeed, and a qualified doctor at that. It is amazing that the free marketeers so often accuse those on the left of belonging to a church politically when their is little they won't say to protect their own ideology from critique. I have he has since changed his mind on this matter as I always felt he spoke with sincerity even when I disagreed with him

It may take a little time for those reflexes to kick in. The senate has been so hopelessly partisan and broken for so long now, a lot of senators may have flat out forgotten how to do it.

Nah...they probably have their doctors calling in scripts for the real stuff.

Been a massive problem in the US. Docs calling it in for themselves and family/friends - basically hoarding it.

I guess North Dakota's there to contain overflow from South Dakota, overflow that, given South Dakota's rate of population growth, should begin right around the beginning of the next millennium.
