Genuinely hope he gave it to McConnell. Would love for them to react to how "excessive" the Democrats are acting over this when their own lives are on the line. Despise those two so much..

Says the man who didn’t want other people with the same concerns, but without the same political pull or money, to be tested for free

It was my concern for myself (my lung) that led me to get testing not widely available to medical professionals and first responders but I wasn't so concerned that I practiced the social distancing recommendations of the CDC, NIH...

Don't point out my callousness. I'm a libertarian. Y'all should have known.

What else could they want? Every single thing was covered in the bill.... Everyone was cool with it until Nancy and Chuck walked in because thats the type of people they are.

For Republicans to ensure funds go the people and not corporations receiving the majority of the money. They must compromise. That is why 60 votes should always be necessary in the Senate. The Senate always has compromised.

This was just a procedural vote anyway. They were not voting on the bill itself.

If I read correctly, like 500Billion US$ are going to be dished out to taxpaying Americans alone. Not including all the people filing for unemployment and will be reviving a check from that. Delaying will only hurt Americans not help. 250B for businesses 50b for airlines and travel. And the rest dispersed in other locations

Aren't they trying to ensure that big corporations aren't able to use the bailout money to engage in the same f***ery they did in 2008 like stock buybacks and huge bonuses to executives? If so, good for them for holding it up.

So 1/4th is going to taxpayers is just not good enough.

Time to compromise Republicans.

Exactly there are not enough stipulations in the current bill on the 250 going to the businesses. Giving them essentially the right to do whatever they want with the handout.

Which would lead to them doing what you brought up.

Also apparently some of the companies looking for aid are billion dollar companies and there is concern they will get a handout before companies that actually need it.

As always a bill that they put forward is vague and without proper rules.
