No it didn't. Fox news and breitbart made that an issue to take a pop at Acosta and the white house then jumped on that and used it as their excuse as to why he was banned.
So you think its ok for the potus to call reporters names, call them horrible people tell them he doesn't like them and then ignore their questions? Talk about lack of respect.
He called out five of them and insulted them. The white house has the gaul to accuse a reporter who was clearly frustrated and annoyed at never getting a question answered by other than getting insulted when he tries to ask something.
As for the metoo comment seriously you are trolling if you think that.
If anything the intern was aggressive in trying to take the mike back. In fact she was like that with several reporters. As for her being assaulted that's hogwash.

The most Acosta did was touch the interns arm. Trump is on record to say it's ok to "grab 'em by the [Poor language removed]" referring to female media staff.

I find it funny that every few weeks someone comes on this thread to defend the Trump white house, they usually last about 3 pages before Trump does something so horrible or stupid that they cant go on.

I’ve already said I find Acosta too showboaty for my tastes. But as you clearly stated accusing Acosta of assault is bellend behaviour, let alone sexual assault or harassment, so why should MeToo movement get involved? Acosta didn’t pat her rump or even ask for her picture as a Goth at a bus station
As for the legal case, I don’t think it says anything in the 1st Amendment about the press needing to show respect but guess we’ll see.

Like i said she reached in and Acosta touched her arm as she was trying to grab the mic. Its as simple as that.
Trump treated all of the reporters like mugs that day and showed utter contempt towards all but the 3 or 4 from the conservative press. Only their questions got answered properly (if you want to call his rambles answers)
