The argument always seems to revolve around trans women wanting access to female bathrooms to attack underage girls.

If a paedophile has a perversion towards young boys, for example, there's pretty much nothing stopping them entering the men's room.

So if the argument is, that paedophiles (regardless of gender identity) are targeting children in public bathrooms en-masse, then surely the argument should be for separate childrens bathrooms, yes?

It isn't, though. Why? Because it's once again another example of taking something that very rarely happens and making it look like the norm in order to beat down a minority group. Completely performative.

The stats and study are by the late trans activist Lynn Conway.

These stats state that 73.6% of transwomen are attracted to biological women.

If we used the bottom end of the study by Ms Conway that 90% of transwomen are actually straight male sexual fetishists, with the latest consensus stating 48,000 transwomen in the UK alone - that would be 43,200 POTENTIAL (I stress this word) attackers entitled legally to enter all female safe spaces.

This is why risk mitigation is required, even if those figures are out by 99% - that's still 480 men you've just allowed into a women's changing room in the UK alone.

I've had plenty of conversations with female friends talking about the danger of men in general, toxic masculinity and the unknown but implied threat of encountering an unknown male in the street, or the shops, or bars, or public Transport.

What would/do you say to women who share these fears for example?

Why are women incapable of raping men, why are trans people automatically going to rape people in toilets and not any other location, why is this a mindset, why the fixation on bathrooms? I think LostLegend above said it well. It's just weird.

Right where do I start.

Women are incapable of raping men. Read the law.

Nobody said that trans people are going to automatically rape anybody in toilets, this has been said many times on here. Allowing transwomen into protected female spaces opens the door for exploitation of the legislation.

The fixation on bathrooms and changing rooms is because they are places where women are vulnerable, possibly naked.

You and @LostLegend know all of this, I don't understand why you pretend you don't.

If someone is twisted and brazen enough to attack a woman in a PUBLIC bathroom, I don't think wearing a dress to get in is a pre-requisite.

Nobody said it is. However it happens, private bathroom stalls and no men to help, same goes for changing rooms.

Do you not see the risk?

People make out like there's an epidemic of this occuring, it's absolutely insane how much attention this non issue has and how overblown it is. People are vulnerable everywhere, deal with it.

My uncle as a paedo. Do we ban Uncles going to the toilet?
