Because the two areas that keep getting the most traction for the right wing media, are more centered around trans women.
You don't need a penis to rape someone.Again mate, a bit disingenuous this.
A trans man can't rape anybody with his imaginary penis. Won't overpower anyone in a changing room or bathroom and will beat next to nobody in men's sports.
THIS is why nobody cares about trans men, because they're not the ones kicking up a fuss. The 5ft nothing tall Elliott Page isn't worrying anybody...

Plenty of men get raped by women. Very few women get overpowered by trans people in changing roomsAgain mate, a bit disingenuous this.

I meant throwing the spanner in the works of the undebated Transmen into this debate given how it was goingNot really. Just people who want the choice to be how they identify.
Former men or women?? Don't be adding any more variables Kurt my head hurts enoughI like Transformers…. Imagine my shock when I first entered this thread

Making everything about rape and violence when talking about trans people. Is the issue I have here.Yes you do. Assault by penetration is the terminology used for sexual assault with anything other than a penis.
No they don't. The amount of men raped by women is miniscule.
91% of rapes and sexual assaults are against females, with obviously 9% male. 99% of all perpetrators are men, meaning 0.0891% of rapes on men are by women.
As for the bolded bit, if they weren't able to access the changing rooms - there'd be none as opposed to 'very few'.

I think the problem here is not actually about Trans people at all, it's about people taking advantage of the loopholes in the rules to make certain behaviours and actions possible.Making everything about rape and violence when talking about trans people. Is the issue I have here.
Most women have suffered violence in their life and the majority of cases it is to a person they are in a relationship with. Behind closed door and in private.
So the notion we should be all fearful of being raped in public, because a extremely small minority of the population want to take a leak is a little extreme.
There are so many more sexual predators/dangers than this current obsession - it seriously does not deserve this level of attention. IMO there is much more to it than certain people are making out, something just doesn't add up about the way people talk about something that doesn't even happen.I think the problem here is not actually about Trans people at all, it's about people taking advantage of the loopholes in the rules to make certain behaviours and actions possible.
It's like the old adage of "you should be able to leave your doors unlocked". Yes, you should. But you don't. Not because of "most people", but because of the few opportunist people who don't care about the rules and will do what they want.
It's awful that people have to beware because of a small minority, but that's just the way things are. And the same applies to the prison argument and the sports argument. It emboldens people with alterior motives to act a certain way and use the faux outrage and offence as a defence when challenged. If these opportunistic people know that the likelihood of even being questioned is greatly reduced, due to most people remaining silent for fear of being labelled an "ist" or a "phobe", they will use it to their advantage.
It's not Transphobia, it's common sense.
As for the Trans men argument, its a completely different scenario, and you would have to be quite disingenuous not to realise that. There's a reason why you never hear the term "Sheep in Wolfs clothing."
One thing I think that is important to add is the mentality of most LGBT+ individuals, is that we tend to be extremely uncomfortable in changing rooms. Actively trying to hide or limit our noticeability. Only have to see the lack of gays in male sports. When I say lack of I mean complete lack of. So kind of proves it really.Females rape men by forcing them to have sex with them, it happens a lot more than you think
As for the changing room guff, it is a nonsense, mate.

Don't know if some take prison films or jokes about being sexually assaulted by prison mates gets taken seriously. "Drop the soap" to name one. As a trope for what the mentality of queer guys or Trans people to be an advantageous predators.
Well, I know some people have campaigned for separate ball and socket repair shops.Do Cybertronians have inherent mechanical genders or can they choose how they identify?
