I'm loath to get involved in this at all as I don't have a dog in the fight, but my understanding is that this is a basic misrepresentation of the issue at hand. From speaking to women who are concerned about this, their concerns centre around access to a space which would otherwise be female only, so an aeroplane toilet wouldn't apply. In other words it's not so much the cubicle itself that's the issue, but the wider room which they are potentially isolated in with a male.

Do you think Rolf Harris, Jimmy Savile and Gary Glitter all used different toilets to male children? Do we have separate bathrooms for Catholic priests etc?I'm loath to get involved in this at all as I don't have a dog in the fight, but my understanding is that this is a basic misrepresentation of the issue at hand. Well that’s why I was loath to say anything, because people like you can’t just say ah right sorry did I just make a ridiculous assumption that was embarrassingly wrong? You have to kick off as if I’ve just said something terrible. Weird that not all women have a hive mind though isn’t it, and some might be bothered by things that others aren’t? I can’t imagine why that would be at all, it can only be that one of us is making it up I think, there’s no other explanation.Do you think Rolf Harris, Jimmy Savile and Gary Glitter all used different toilets to male children? As for your anecdote about women you’ve spoken to, I know a lot of women too, and not one of them has expressed concern about sharing bathrooms, with anyone.
Don't worry they just say things for likes. I mean nothing he said there made sense.Well that’s why I was loath to say anything, because people like you can’t just say ah right sorry did I just make a ridiculous assumption that was embarrassingly wrong? And he is wrong because in primary schools children have separate toilets to teachers. For security reasons you know because a teacher could be a saville or a Harris.
It is more the fact you have to associate trans and sexual predators. The irony given how many school children (especially private svhool) were abused by their teachers - but yeh, trans people are the issue …
People keep saying that it is not safe for women and kids to use changing rooms where there are trans people, I am merely pointing out that it is less safe in school, church, at home than in said changing roomIt is more the fact you have to associate trans and sexual predators.
I for one. Just say Trans are at significantly more at risk to violence than being violent towards others. Because that is the truth and don't need these odd side tracks about vicars and celeb pedos.
That's conjecture. I don't think calling all priests pedos is a good way of really easing women when talking about safety. Or a good way of arguing this point.People keep saying that it is not safe for women and kids to use changing rooms where there are trans people, I am merely pointing out that it is less safe in school, church, at home than in said changing room
PE teacher at my school turned out to be a pedophile. There have been plenty, so your argument doesn’t make sense mate.Don't worry they just say things for likes. I mean nothing he said there made sense.

Didn’t realise I’d ‘kicked off’, it certainly wasn’t my intention. I just have a different view to you. And I certainly don’t think one of us is lying, just that anecdotes don’t really prove anything.Well that’s why I was loath to say anything, because people like you can’t just say ah right sorry did I just make a ridiculous assumption that was embarrassingly wrong?
