I don’t think we disagree fundamentally, my own take is that it’s basically a non issue. There are no male boxers battering women (despite Kev’s odd claim) and I don’t think trans people are a danger using the female/male toilets. The only thing I disagreed with you was I felt you were trying to police what people post. People are often sarcastic and childish on here (myself included) so I wouldn’t take any of the comments personally or even seriously most of the time.

Both failed IBA gender eligibility tests (chromosome verification) In the case of Khelif - he is taking legal action over the leaking of medical reports by 4 separate French sources which essentially states they're correct. If they were false, he'd state they're false. He hasn't.

Lin Yu-ting didn't appeal the decision, Khelif did, then withdrew it.

She was born male with ambiguous genitalia just like everyone with 5-alpha-reductase deficiency. Raised as a female as outwardly, pre-pubescent - appears female. Male puberty kicks in and it becomes apparent that they aren't female.

The IOC President literally stated that Khelif & Lin's cases were DSD.

He had told journalists at the IOC daily briefing: "We are not talking about the transgender issue here. This is about a woman taking part in a women's competition.

"I repeat, this is not a DSD case." The IOC later posted a correction on social media saying Bach did not mean to say it was "not a DSD case", he was meant to say "this is a not a transgender case".


You can't be female and have 5-alpha-reductase deficiency in the same way as you can't be male and get pregnant.
